A very convenient location near Galata Tower with good transport links within 15 min walk. A very vibrant street in daytime which was quiet at night. Excellent help from owners. All the rooms were nice.

Istanbul rendezvous

The property is in an old apartment block behind the Galata Tower, so very easy to locate. Two of us are aged 70, one with some mobility issues, but all manageable. We found the underground to bring us from near the bridge to an area a bit higher than the tower which was very useful. We were a family group of 7 rendezvousing with 2 of the group coming from Australia, the rest from the UK. Istanbul was wonderful to explore, and this haven of an apartment lovely to return to when exhausted. We especially appreciated how roomy it is, with bedrooms for all and a proper sitting room. The hosts were responsive, very helpful and welcoming. We were sad nit to meet them, but our entry and exit times were awkward. Secure key safe and coded entry accommodating us. We would all recommend this apartment and its hosts. Thank you.

The perfect stylish base for our city exploration.

We had a superb stay at the Apartment. Such a quirky historic building with a rooftop terrace that was beyond incredible and where we enjoyed our evening meals - worth the effort of taking them up there! The location was perfect and highly recommended, allowing us to see the broad panoramas of Istanbul across the Golden Horn and Bosphorous, and with the rising Galata Tower alongside. The apartment was accurately listed, had everything we needed and was the perfect place to relax in between our trips out each day into the city and Tarkan could not have been more helpful or flexible. We could not recommend more. Thank you.

Fabulous stay near Galata Tower

The property is exactly as described. Beds and shower were great and we loved the area. It felt bustling because of the crowds visiting tower but was quiet at night. The terrace views were lovely. We found it to be convenient to public transportation to all the sites. That being said the apartment is located on a hill and access to the terrace requires several flights of stairs so it is best if you are relatively fit/mobile. The owners were very responsive and helpful. They own multiple apartments so they have good systems in place to help with airport transfers etc.

Great apartment

Lovely apartment in a great location right next to Galata Tower. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and stores in the area. There are a lot of hills in the area. Management was highly responsive and easy to communicate with. They also provided a number of great suggestions to help with our stay in Istanbul. I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent apartment in the perfect location!

We stayed for 9 days and actually rented two apartments because of our group size. The first apartment was on the first floor with the hammam bath. My wife often abandoned me at night to sleep on the warm hammam marble table instead. We truly enjoyed the apartments, the location that was just right behind the Galata tower, the building entrance was very nice, private and safe. Plenty of windows with nice view of the street and the tower. Our young kids felt like living in a second home for 9 days. And our host was just amazing - very easy to reach, super knowledgeable, extremely helpful, always available to answer questions. We will definitely return!

Immer wieder!

Wir sind schon häufiger in Istanbul gewesen. Doch mit dieser Wohnung haben wir einen Volltreffer gelandet. Viel Platz für 6 Personen. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und komfortabel saniert jedoch ist der historische Charme erhalten. Das Highlight ist die Dachterasse!! Der Ausblick über Istanbul ist atemberaubend. Lage der Wohnung und Verkehrsanbindung einfach klasse. Die Kontakte mit der Agentur waren unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Man hat uns gut beraten und geholfen. Die Wohnung als Ausgangspunkt für einen Istanbultrip ist super und ich werde in Zukunft nicht mehr überlegen müssen wo wir übernachten- immer wieder hier !!! Von uns 5 Sterne!!!

Beautiful apartment

We had a lovely stay in this elegant but cosy apartment with the roof terraces with the most stunning view over Istanbul! The location is very central. It was super clean. The service and booking & paying procedure & communication worked out well and we were welcomed warmly. I can only recommend this beautiful place! Leona

Beautiful apartment in a really great part of the city.

We travelled as a group of friends for the second time to Istanbul and decided to go back to the area around Galata but chose a different apartment and were very glad we did. The apartment is a walk around Galata Tower in a pedestrianised street so might not be great if you have heavy luggage but if not it's definitely worth it. It's a much more residential than touristy area so you feel like a local when coming in and out. The apartment itself is beautifully and stylishly decorated with a lot of space for 4 people. Hafiz the manager welcomed us when we got there and even ran out to get us bottled water before he left as we got in quite late. He sorted everything quickly and helpfully. The walk to the roof terrace is well worth is as you get one of the best views of the city I could possibly imagine. We will go back to Istanbul next year and will definitely stay in one of the Istanbul Place apartments again.
