Family Vacation
The house was very nice..it was clean… rooms were a great size. Enjoyed the 3 full bathrooms. Location was great! Was a little disappointed there wasn’t a bbq grill, and the patio chairs on second floor 2 out of the 3 were broken. Other than that everything was great. Living room and dining room kitchen open concept was great… loved the huge kitchen table and huge kitchen/bar counter top. It accommodated my family of 15 very well.

Good stay
We had a great time here. The house was perfect and the view was breathtaking. Check in was a breeze, and the house had everything we needed. I would definitely suggest bringing loads of mosquito spray because the walk from the house to the beach the mosquitoes will eat you alive! They are not bad if you are just sitting outside on the balcony or if you are actually at the beach. But thru the dunes they are horrible!!! But other than that we would definitely stay here again.

Sibling getaway
Everything was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone - two sofas and chairs and a large dining table. It would be nice if more wash cloths were provided in the bathrooms. There were plenty of towels. The slider in the main bedroom did not lock, so my husband cut a broom handle to fit the bottom slot. We then felt much more secure. Thank you for a very nice vacation.

Great property and location
We loved the location and the house was very nice overall. It was missing a few basic items (functional grill, scissors, bathtub plug, can opener), but the property management company was great and addressed most of the missing items ASAP. We would stay there again.

Owner needs to make some repairs
Wonderful property. Wonderful location. Quick response from VACASA, but without any real solutions to problems causing it not to be worth the price paid. Before booking this home, make sure they have repaired or replace the ice maker and the shelving situations in the freezer and refrigerator. The lack of shelving along with the absence of ice (causing us to use what little space to facilitate only ice) was a huge problem for a family at the beach. Also, make sure they have restocked basics before renting. It was wonderful, but it is a 40 minute trip one way (minimum) for supplies ….we had to make many for things that wet token or not supplied.

Relaxing weekend turns to hell
For the short time we were there (Friday pm-Sunday am), I never expected to have so many problems. I still haven’t received a phone call (Sun pm) from anyone like I was told several times. Here we go. First thing when we arrived we let the dogs go potty, and they come back limping. So I start checking both of them & they have sticker burrs all in their paws. I start to pull them out & they are SHARP! After we head up. There were several lights burnt out throughout the entire house and what look like multiple pee stains on the carpets. I call management because there were no beach towels, as listed, in which took over an hour for someone to bring some. After going to the beach and when we were ready to take our showers, we noticed only TWO washcloths were supplied to us in the entire house. While watching tv, I then notice a couch pillow had the entire top seam ripped open where the stuffing was showing. Now on to dinner, we grab pots to cook. Majority of the pans are deeply scratched to hell. The cast iron skillet has so much gunk in it I had to put water in the pan, put it on the stove, and heat it up for it to come off. After getting dinner together, we sit down. There is a bar chair with a broken rail at the bottom. We decide to make some frozen drinks, the blender starts leaking from the bottom as we are using it. The next morning I start the laundry. The washer stopped working with the tub full of water. They send someone out. Later that afternoon, the hall toilet upstairs, starts running. So I take the lid off the tank thinking it’s a quick fix and water starts spraying everywhere. I put the lid back on, shut the water off, I then take the lid off again,and the hose has fallen off and can’t be put back. The entire ‘guts’ assembly looks shot and needs to be replaced, so I call….again. 3 hours later-no one shows up or calls back. I call again to be told everyone is busy and can’t get to it until the next day. So, 9 people who were upstairs will have to use the master bathroom. In the master-the towel rack was hanging half off of the wall. I was told someone was going to call me about my issues to discuss a partial refund for the issues, and that has not yet happened. The house itself is beautiful but when you have all these issues, it takes away from that.

Quick Weekend
Very clean, great location. A little dated with nice bathrooms and kitchen. Master bedroom sinks clogged - but nobody can beat a home literally on the beach with that wonderful ocean sound and breeze. A good weekend.

Family Vacation
Trash bins were full when we arrived and smelt awful, first thing you see and walk by. Master balcony door did not lock, husband had to fix it due to safety concern for our toddler. Power in three rooms did not work first evening we were there. We were told ticket would be escalated but nobody called until next day. Sinks were plugged and one in master leaked on towels that were stored, husband had to fix pipes. One of pull out beds under bunk had urine stain. Towels from previous renters were left out on top balcony, and in bedroom.

Coffee maker did not work, mold on the curtains, microwave was broken, grill was broken, AC only works upstairs, kitchen appliances, broken chairs outside, and small appliances very dirty and greasy. Not a good vacation.

Great Property, Nice Location, & Wonderful Beaches
The house is just as described, felt like new. Great views of the beach that is footsteps away from the back porch. Beaches are clean in well kept. The property was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. Will return again very soon!

Wonderful getaway
This house is clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We were minus 4 people due to covid so it felt extra luxurious. The floorplan was ideal for our family because my parents had a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, which gave my daddy's aching knees a break. My kids LOVED their room. There are bunks and trundles for 6 kids. We'll be back next year, I hope.

Beautiful view right on the beach!
Would have given five stars, but clothes dryer wouldn't get clothes dry and two of the three guest beds were uncomfortable. If the appliances were upgraded and new mattresses provided, it would have been the best property we’ve ever stayed at in the several years we’ve been coming to Galveston. The beautiful view right on the ocean is outstanding!

Beautiful home- great location
Supplies plenty- beautiful home- only complaint was bunks needed cleaned around mattresses. Beautiful view- could feel breeze and hear waves at all hours. Lots of room to accommodate all of us ladies around table- bar and outside. Not to bad if a drive to the strand. Very close to bridge at San Luis pass for jeep muddying!! Loved this house!

Very Disappointing
Before the visit, great communication. We made two adjustments and both efficiently handled. We arrived and it went downhill: 1. Provided wrong codes to get into key box. The phone number didn’t have the right answer either. Had to send someone out. 1-1/2 hours waiting to get in. 2. Pet friendly only means you can bring a pet. If you have a dog, the yard is not friendly. Ant hills and burr plants were everywhere. Between those paw irritants and keeping an eye out for rattle snakes that like the scrub, it was a stressful time getting my dog to do her business. 3. New homes are under construction up and down that street. Hope you enjoy construction and workmen’s choice of music because it got loud at times. 4. The outdoor grill was in pieces and unusable. We brought all of our food, including several hundred dollars worth of steak and shrimp to cook out there. The girl on the phone said they knew about it. I couldn’t believe they didn’t disclose that ahead of time. When I kept pressing about why they hadn’t, she hung up on me. 5. A lot of the kitchen tools were dirty or greasy. The plates were clean but bowls, glasses, pans, etc were not. We started to clean everything we used but were only provided two dishwashing tablets. Had to wash everything by hand. Just what I want on vacation. 6. There is a walkway over the dune to get onto the beach. Not sure how the builders got around ADA regulations for slope angle but it is steep at the end. We had to drive the the beach when we carried chairs and a cooler. 7. Hard beds: not one person slept well with all of the beds being so hard. The positives were: There is no one between you and the beach. The pics of inside the home are accurate. Open front area included kitchen, large dining room table and the living room is a great gathering space. The decks and rocking chairs were nice to sit on and look out. Ample parking. Full size fridge. Kitchen island was large. Lots of chairs at the dining room table. Linens and towels appeared to be clean. Picnic tables under the house were nice to eat at for a crawfish boil.

Bachelorette Weekend
First of all I want to say that the house itself was beautiful and has everything you can imagine. The views were spectacular and the house was very clean and well put together. The only downside was during arrival we could NOT get the lockbox to open. In order to open the door we needed the key from the lockbox but for some reason it was stuck. We were waiting outside for over an hour past our check in time because the lockbox would not open. I called and called VACASA (agency for the house) and they would NOT answer. Our whole group was just waiting outside sweating trying to get this box to open. I was on hold for over an hour and no one would answer. I still to this day never got a call back. We ended up getting it open 2 hours later and no help from the agency. I messaged them and never heard back. The lock box ended up being rusted and the lip holder fell off. It was very disappointing. Also, there is construction property next door but it wasn’t too much of a bother. Other than that the house was beautiful and our stay was exceptional.

Great Home for a family getaway! Right on The Beach!
We loved this home and had a great stay. It was so lovely to walk out the back door and be on the beach. The house had tons of space and was very clean. Leave your beach toys at home as they had everything you need, including beach towels. We will be back.
