Friendly staff, convenient location

The room was nice but had dim lighting. We easily heard loud music and cursing from the room next door, which made it difficult to sleep. Our blanket had holes in it. The free breakfast was skimpy and barely warm. The staff, however, was unfailingly courteous. Check in & check out was swift.

Not sure they are still a part of Ramada Hotel

A decent room with amenities... Old building, showing age quite significantly. Reasonably clean, comfortable bed. A noisy, noisy air conditioning... I had to turn it off when I went to bed. Good water pressure on shower, very pleasant staff, right at middle of downtown Eau Claire, WI. I am not sure this hotel is still a part of Ramada Hotel chain, since the signs were erased or painted over. Parking in deck right next to the building - you can park at same level of your room. Breakfast was free, tasted great.

Ramada Inn, Eau Claire, WI

For a 3 star hotel, we were very disappointed in the environmental controls for our room. The air conditioner was very noisy with the fan running all night. We were unable to turn the fan off, and as a result, my wife did not get much sleep (I can sleep any wheres). The cleanliness of the room was questionable with the carpet being stained. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (both at the front desk and in the breakfast dining room). The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Room and hallways were extremely warm. They staff did give us a new room which was much cooler. Bar was nice.

This hotel needs a serious upgrade. Reception staff did not show any enthusiasm.

Not a 3 start hotel

We booked this hotel while on the road and did so because it had a 3 star rating. The hotel seems to be located in an older part of downtown. The elevator had signs posted that it may not stop completely on the floor and gave instructions in case there was a problem. The lobby was clean but when we went to our room it was disappointing. The rooms are in need a major overhaul. The bathtub was a bit disgusting and I would not make coffee from the coffee pot because it was pretty dirty. The only upside was that we were given 4 breakfast buffet coupons and the food selection was decent. The hotel was doable for the one night but I would not stay there again.
