“My partner and I stayed here for an impromptu night over and wished we had stayed for longer now! The staff were so friendly and the food was incredible, there was a real homely feel to the place and the grounds are stunning. Easy parking too which is a plus. It’s only a 3 minute drive from a petrol station too. We recommend: - ordering the “ultimate burger” - saving room after dinner for one of their ice cream sundaes - ordering a local cider and sitting on the swing bench in the garden”

“Simply amazing! Spacious, comfortable, beautiful finishing touches throughout, fully equipped kitchen, easy parking, masses of wardrobe space, and generous sized bathrooms. Centrally located for the shops, beaches, pubs, restaurants and the railway station. Even when we had a small issue with the hot water, this was resolved by a quick phone call and dealt with immediately. We never visit the same place twice but in this case, we would make an exception.”

The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great.”

“The location was brilliant. There was good equipment in the kitchen and the sitting room was comfortable with a great tv. Others have mentioned the water is a bit temperamental but it didn’t affect our stay. I think it could benefit from a deep clean. It wasn’t dirty but needed a bit more care. ”

“The garden was spectacular. Really relaxing to walk around. The staff were attentive and helpful. The room was clean and the TV had Youtube and Amazon Prime which was great. The room tea and coffee selection is good and parking is not a problem. Will be back if l drive through the area.”

“I didn’t have a friendly welcome at the reception but most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The doors to the bedrooms are very clunky and I could hear doors closing with a loud thud. I could also hear dogs barking - which I didn’t appreciate. I had a “Superior” Double room with Sea View, so I was surprised to find the room had a ripped curtain. The room was comfortable and generally clean, but I did spot some grime on the bath by the shower screen. The room had a balcony but to be frank...
