“This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it never disappoints. I attended an event this time and everything was perfect. From the atmosphere to the food all amazing. Staff were lovely, shout out the Rebekah who organised the event, she was amazing. The hotel room is spacious and has everything you need. The bed is so comfortable and makes it hard to leave. Will definitely stay again. ”

“I booked with quite late notice and arrived before the typical check-in time. The welcome was warm and nothing seemed to much trouble from the start. The rooms have been sensitively decorated with little touches that link the interiors with the train station across the road, which was nice. The room was perfectly comfortable with good facilities. “Always like staying in this hotel with a maze of corridors and levels and quirky features such as the uneven floors due to age. Rooms are always clean and well-presented with the only drawback being a lack of a simple thing as a box of tissues. Skipped the breakfast option on this occasion (£12.50) but I have eaten there and the food is very nice (inc. the breakfast options !). ”

“Lovely little pub which myself and colleague stayed in for one night as we were attending a Farnborough exhibition. 15-20 mins max away from Farnborough exhibition hall. Staff here are so friendly and helpful. Special mention to Blake behind the bar for looking after us all evening. The head chef was lovely too and personally came to see my colleague about the lunch she chose on the next day and tailored it to her liking. All in all nice spacious clean rooms which are separate to the pub so nice...

“I enjoyed a one-night stay very much, in the cleverly designed single room with its own separate bathroom. Very welcoming, all amenities provided (apart from a holder for toothbrush and paste, but it is a very small bathroom!) and beautifully presented and tasty breakfast. A word of warning if you're walking there from the station - it's uphill and quite steep!”

“Mi experiencia ni fue muy buena. Contrate dos noches una de habitación superior y otra de una suite. En la habitación superior al ir a bañarme se salió la llave y no pude ducharme. Al día siguiente según lo contratado me cambiaron a una suite, pero al regresar por la tarde mis cosas las habían regresado a una habitación ni siquiera superior sino regular. El encargado no supo explicar la razón, encima la habitación tenía el toilette muy sucio, el caño no tenía mezcladora de agua, dos grifos uno...

“We had the most amazing relaxing stay. Our room was lovely with a view of the garden. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night of our stay, food was again really good however compared to some of the other handpicked hotels i felt the menu let the hotel down. It wasnt as 'fancy' as ashdown or buxted park but the food quality was still really good. I would defo visit again. ”
