A nice escape from the city. Enjoyed stargazing. The lack of AC was a bummer. Their dog was friendly and my dog loved playing with him.

Cute 2 bedroom house. Rustic decor. Beds were just ok. We only stayed 2 nights and were visiting family so not much time spent there. Could use a little sprucing up with decor. Clean!

The bunkhouse is very spacious, with nice bedrooms. There’s a huge tv in the living room, and one in each room. The range is perfect to bring home food to cook, and a gas heater when it gets cold. The living room with two couches and dining table was more than adequate to meet our needs. And the decor was amazing, many cool southwestern antique items

Enjoyable
Very pleased with the heaters as we woke up to several inches of snow and icy wind. There is no coffee pot; only a Keurig with just a few cups. There is a small microwave, fridge, and sink. Gilligans pizza down the road is good. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

This property isn’t upscale or plush but it’s well thought out, comfortable, and fits the theme of the area that surrounds it. The dog. Oh my goodness, the dog. We were so warmly greeted by this big black lab mix that we were sad to leave him behind. I’m pretty sure he would have gladly spent the night with us.

The host Nanci was very nice and took care of any of our needs. Her dog Cash was a sweet pup. The bunk house was very clean and had everything we needed. You could cook a full meal, the kitchen was well stocked. We stayed there because of its location to the Granite Mountain hike to the hotshot Memorial. The property is very interesting with a lot of history, I wish we had an extra day to wonder around.

Small town getaway amazing views
Perched up on a hill with increadible desert highland views. Very spacious "bunk house." I was not expecting a full living/family room, kitchenette, two bedrooms, bathroom, covered patio aaaaaand plenty of property to get increadible stargazing with ZERO light pollution. There is no AC so be advised. They do provide fans and we just happened upon a weekend warmer than normal. Google maps is wrong, so keep driving to other side of property closer to downtown. Downtown locks up tight by 5-7pm buuuuut there was an amazing bar/restaurant and lucky us, karaoke lounge just 15 mins south in Congress open till 11pm. Wild West Saloon at The Depot.

Nice place for Fall or Winter
Nice restored bunk house. However, there is No air ventalation or AC of any kind. It was hot and stuffy the entire time. There were fans available so they helped out a little. Also it doesn't comfortably sleep 6, unless you count a couch and loveseat. Overall it was a neat place to stay. I just wouldn't recommend staying when the temperatures are 90+ degrees.The neighbors friendly black dog kept us company.
