My partner and I booked 2 nights away from Melbourne city for a quiet retreat.
Unfortunately, this is not what we got. Although the room was beautiful and larger than your avarage hotel room, the walls are paper thin.
The room is essentially an extra bedroom from the apartment adjoining. There is a go between door which has been blocked off.
Unfortunately, on both nights we would hear the tv and music the other side of the apartment next door, which was occupied by 2 separate guests each night.
We booked this with the intention of it being a quiet retreat. However were left exhausted as we were awake for most of the night until 3am when we had to be for the sunrise at 5am.
