Great location & house but very small driveway!
The house itself is great! Very well stocked with necessities & very clean. Definitely needs some updating & is slightly outdated, but overall great condition & great location, just steps from the beach!!! Having said that, the only way to access the house is via steep outdoor steps. The wet mats on each landing of the staircase cause the stairs to become extremely slippery and we had to be very careful. This made it dangerous while carrying my daughter, groceries, luggage, etc! Also there is not parking for 5-6 cars. We all drive mid-size vehicles with the exception of 1 van & only fit 4 vehicles which caused us to have to pay for parking on the street as the listing mislead us as it states parking for 5-6 cars! Again, this wasn’t a huge deal but renters should be aware that we had our cars inches away from the house with the other cars as close as we could get them behind those & the cars still hung out in the street. There is also construction happening directly across the street and next door to the house which is very loud & our driveway was constantly blocked by construction workers. Again, this wasn’t a huge deal as we walked most places, but it is something to be aware of when needing to drive. Overall a great stay and our group had a wonderful time, but those are just a few things we wish we would have known prior to renting!

Memorial Day family trip
The property location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the ocean and pier. The home was well-stocked with tons of amenities. Parking was tight for 4 cars. The house is a duplex, not a single family home. It felt like this was not clearly described in the listing. Didn’t matter much to us overall, but having to use the outdoor staircase to travel between levels was daunting with small kids and rainy weather. Overall a great experience.

Overall it was a nice to place to stay. Great location. Needs a little updating. Work on building next door was loud in early morning. Showers in king bedrooms were very slippery- should have non-slip mats in them. But overall a nice stay

Great winter getaway
House was very well furnished being better than most others we have rented. The beds comfortable and clean. Nice views and beach access. Nicely located. Poor write up on fees for rental with tacked on fees after agreeing to rent.

Fantastic family vacation
Our our rental was exactly as described, it was clean, it was bright, it was next to the ocean on a cul-de-sac. It was exactly what we had hoped and thoroughly enjoyed our time there, We would certainly rent this property again.

Wonderful Family Time!
This property was exactly the way it was described on line! The property Manager with whom I worked (Tracey) was an absolute pleasure! She even took the time to speak with me on her day off when I had a question. The location was perfect. It was a wonderful week for our cousin reunion!

Met Owner, Freeman - very kind and on-site. Both his units are clean and disinfected which is key at this time. Great location! Booked a few weeks before our original booking and was excited to come back.

Great vacation!
Beach cottage has the best views of the ocean! Plenty of room and such a short walk to the beach!! Sitting on deck at night feeling the breeze was awesome!!

The best stocked rental I’ve ever stayed at
How many times have you checked into a rental; it’s late and everyone’s cranky and you just want to kick back and relax only to find the rental is bare. And I mean bare! Not even a piece of toilet paper! So hold the idea of relaxing because you’re off to the store to buy essentials. Not a good way to start the vacation. But this rental comes so well stocked you only need food. Thank you for a great way to start our family “beach week”!

It was perfect for our family!
We rented the duplex and it was perfect for our two families. Close to the beach and the place was very quaint. We love to cook and the kitchen was well equipped with anything we needed. Cleanliness is probably our number one quality when looking for a place and it was very, very clean. We would surely stay here again!

Christmas at the Beach!
65+ degree days at the Beach for Christmas!- We spent so much time on the porches with incredible views. The location and view were really nice- The kitchen had everything needed to cook for the holidays- We enjoyed our stay.

Great House for a Family Reunion
Location was awesome, house was well-maintained, nicely decorated and Owners were very easy to work with. We had a great time at Wrightsville Beach and couldn't have chosen a better rental.

Wrightsville Beach
Our extended family of 10, ranging in age from 26-60 (plus our 8 month old grand baby) had a wonderful time at this clean beach home! The home had everything we needed in the well equipped kitchens to be able to make great dinners most nights, as we really wanted to just relax and enjoy each other's company (rather than go out on the town). The house was steps to the beach, and the beach was very nice! Really clean and not too crowded during the week! It was busier on the weekend but not so crowded that we couldn't find our own space! The view from the upper porch of the house was fantastic, and we all gathered there during the day and in the evenings (except for when it rained). The owners were very friendly and easily accessible; available to answer questions via text and phone calls. The only difficulty we had was where to potty our pups! This was due to no fault of Freeman and Debbie, who tried to guide us to better spots for the dogs potty needs! However the area is filled with burrs which got stuck in their paws no matter how much we tried to avoid them. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs, as we make it a point to travel to pet friendly homes so that we CAN bring them, but when we travel to Wrightsville Beach again it will be without the pups. Overall, great time in this great home!

Wonderful Vacation for Family and Friends
My wife and I, along with some of our friends (late 30's) stayed here for a few days in early August. It was absolutely fantastic. The location is great. Very close to the beach. Close to downtown Wrightsville Beach restaurants. The house was perfect - very clean, the amenities were great, the views were unbeatable. Communication with the homeowner was easy and timely. Overall a wonderful experience for everyone in our group.

Wrightsville Beach July 2019
One house off the beach, but with excellent views. Very nicely decorated and well-equipped with kitchen utensils, games, and a large screen TV, probably 65”. Was perfect to watch The Open and the Tour De France in the AM. 1 block from the Loop and easy to get anywhere. We didn’t venture off the Island except for Harris Teeter. We had in-laws also staying on Henderson and a brother who lives on Oxford so the location was perfect. Only issue I had, if you can call it an issue, is the exhaust fan in the rear bathroom on the upper unit was not working.
