Duck Tree Lodge - un hermoso alojamiento en arbustos

Cómodo y acogedor hotel rural ubicado en 4 acres de hermosos matorrales australianos y jardines paisajísticos. Ubicado a solo 2 km de Woodend en el país fresco de Macedonia Rangos.

Una acogedora chimenea en el interior complementa un impresionante escenario al aire libre que alberga canguros, canguros y el extraño koala.

Este hogar muy querido se completa con todas las comodidades para que su estadía sea acogedora y relajante. Dos salas de estar y una cocina moderna en el interior, mientras que fuera de una gran terraza para descansar y ver la vida silvestre. Woodend es una pequeña y bonita ciudad a solo 1 hora de Melbourne CBD. Es un gran lugar para caminatas, viñedos, una excelente cervecería y ciclismo de montaña. Estamos a 2 minutos en coche o 20 minutos a pie de la ciudad.


Alojamiento

Duck Tree Lodge es una encantadora casa de tres habitaciones. El dormitorio principal cuenta con una hermosa y rústica cama queen con baño moderno y vestidor. Los segundos dormitorios cuentan con una cama queen mientras que el tercer dormitorio cuenta con dos juegos de literas. Dos generosas salas de estar, una moderna cocina de campo, estufa de leña y sistema de calefacción / refrigeración dividido. Como era de esperar, tendrá un televisor y un DVD.

Duck Tree Lodge cuenta con impresionantes opciones de entretenimiento al aire libre. Una gran terraza envuelve el frente de la casa, mientras que la zona de barbacoa cubierta ofrece vistas al bosque contiguo. Un cenador separado y un horno de pizza crean una maravillosa experiencia gastronómica al aire libre.

A Special Place
We had multiple family commitments during our stay at Duck Tree which unfortunately meant we didn’t spend as much time at the property as we would have liked. We appreciated (and duly consumed) the chocolates and fresh milk, sat outside enjoying the fresh air and beautiful bush outlook and slept well in the comfy beds.

Incredible place
This place is wonderful, and exactly what we needed. It's bush meets modern and absolutely perfect. Whats better than a woodfire with kangaroos in the yard each afternoon? To top it off they had a big selection of dvds, fast wifi and even toys for the kids! Absolutely brilliant stay, already looking forward to the next time!

Lots of potential
Great location and spaces. No heating in living room except wood heater, so very cold in the mornings unless fire relit. Cleaning not up to scratch, eg old food, open milk and juice left in fridge, freezer compartment full of someone else’s food, cups in cupboard dirty, rugs full of sticks and leaves, old chips and bits of choc wrappers between bed and side table. Description need updating as pizza oven and pergola are no longer in place and haven’t been for some time by the look of it. BUT it could be really good with just a bit more attention to detail.

Amazing property and location
Duck Tree Lodge exceeded our expectations; it is set in a beautiful location with everything you need to make for a great time away. The cleanliness and the amenities were perfect, the kids had a wonderful time enjoying the open spaces and the adults loved the cosy fire and the tranquility of Woodend. Bianca and Matt were fantastic hosts, making sure everything was just right for our stay. Highly recommended!

Family break
We loved the house and the timber furniture. Our dogs had a great time in the back yard and the bush out the back. Woodend had all we wanted, farmers market, brew house and supermarket. It was only a 30 minute walk. We spent a lot of time exploring the reservoirs that were all full and overflowing making a spectacular sight at their spillways. As we left, the wood ducks came out of their tree to watch us go.

Wonderful peaceful getaway!
This property is beautiful! Great place to take a family, with super gardens for the kids to run around and play, the cubby, footy goals and basketball ring kept them entertained! The house is well located close to the Woodend shops, but in a private setting surrounded by trees and bush. Easy check-in and good communication from host. The place was clean and tidy and we had an awesome stay. Highly recommend.

It was lovely to walk into a warm house. The wood heater certainly lived up to our expectations. The location was great for exploring nearby towns. Plenty of wildlife in the vicinity too.

Very cosy
We chose Woodend for a long weekend getaway and to catch up with family. This was a perfect property peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. Cosy fire for the cold weather. Very close to Woodend shops but so sheltered and quiet We could have been many miles from traffic and noise. An easy drive to Kyneton and Mt Macedon

A lovely country stay!
We stayed at Duck Tree Lodge for several nights in January 2022 to visit friends who live in the Macedon Ranges. The property is in a gorgeous location surrounded by bush and lots of wildlife – we saw kangaroos and wallabies and loads of parrots - and it is close to town which has everything you need. The location and house are just lovely and provided the relaxing break we were looking for! The house has everything you need including a great kitchen which meant our friends could visit our ‘holiday house’ for dinner, as well as lovely living areas and an enclosed yard for the kids to run around in. Communication with Bianca was seamless and the choccies were a lovely treat. We highly recommend Duck Tree Lodge!

Tranquil getaway at Woodend
We stayed for 2 nights in January 2022 after two previously reschedules due to Vic lockdowns. We had initially planned for a Autumn getaway to the macedon ranges but were so glad we got to see the region during the summer. The property was very nicely styled and had all the amenities we needed including a high chair for our near 2 year old, a cot (if we needed), toys and books for the kids, a dog bowl for our furry pooch, some tea and coffee and a bottle of wine. The house would easily accommodate two groups of families with kids or a family with some grandparents since one of the bedrooms was in a master suite area of the house with its own access. Each morning we saw several kangaroos on the property, bunnies, lots of native birds and tonnes of butterflies. It was an easy 2 min drive to town and with so much to explore, we could have easily stayed several more nights. The hosts were so welcoming and had plenty of information for the region and town. Would definitely recommend staying at Duck Tree Lodge!

Escape to the country
We had a lovely stay at Duck Lodge which was far more spacious than depicted in the photos. We had 3 generations of family stay for the weekend and we enjoyed the wood heater and idyllic surrounds. Were also fortunate to see a couple of kangaroos. Phone coverage is limited (and no broadband available) but this was fine for us to ‘switch off’ and relax. Chocolates on arrival were a nice touch and communication with Bianca was always prompt and friendly - Thanks for having us.
