I booked a Global Luxury Suites hotel via hotels.com, only to find it was actually the Skymark building, owned by Churchill. “Room was very nice with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with laundry detergent if you need to throw in a load. Pool was great and is open 11-8. Plenty of parking (pd) around the building—it is easier to see what is available before it gets dark. Metro blue line stop is less than 5 minutes walking and you can even go through the Marriott lobby to get underground there. Such an easy home base to get to all the sights in DC with the closeness of the Metro...

“This property was amazing and matched the description exactly. It was spacious, quiet, and clean. I didn’t use the amenities but from what saw, they were great. From the pool, gym, rec area; everything was nice. It even has a Aldi grocery store in site, coffee and Urgent Care. It seems like it has it all! There were a few things I didn’t like, for example, the mattress on the bed was way too soft and you literally sink into it when you lay on it. Some people may like it, but it wasn’t for me....

“The property was nice, very active building with a concierge at the front desk. They are not attached with the rental company just for the property. The apartment had almost all the cookware and working appliances for meals, nice touch was the dishwasher and if you needed a washer/dryer it was located in the apartment. Check in was fine and the ability to leave our luggage in the post room the day of departure was very much appreciated.
