We adored everything about this dreamy old gal. My favorite thing was the porch for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. It is centrally located between Belfast and Camden so you will never be short of things to do. That is if you can talk yourself off of that dreamy porch. ”

“Used the cabin to reunite with our son who had just completed an Appalachian Trail Thru hike. Was able to relax and used the home as a central location to visit coastal Maine after he finished at Mount Katahdin. Flew in and out of Bangor. Beautiful cabin with lots of beds and open spacious living room. Awesome property on the lake and with dock, outdoor fireplace sitting area and water toys. ”

“Communication with Travis was great. He was accommodating which was very much appreciated. The home did have a musty animal odor to it, which may have been due to the basement, there was a dehumidifier which was full. In the left downstairs bedroom the mattress protector has blood on it. The sheets were clean, but the mattress protector was dirty. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Other than the odor and the mattress protector issue, we would stay here again. Very safe area.”

“Home was tucked away, but easy to find. Home was very clean, and fit our needs. It appears the home got new floors and trim, and somehow in the process the door jams got messed up. Most of the doors will not close or closed very hard with the door rubbing on the jam. Don't overlook that there is no TV. This wasn't important to us, but may be for others. ”

“Such a great location and property for our 3 families. Off the beaten path on a quiet corner of the lake, we spent lots of time swimming, paddling, and relaxing. The Maine house easily accommodated us for meals, games, and hanging out. The cabins were great to spread out at night. We look forward to a repeat stay! ”

“The house was at a great location, near Belfast and not too far from Camden/Rockland. Good for kids. The house was very large and old-style classic. The porch was huge and great, old school. The property was very nice, access to rocky shore was good, but with a lot of steps. The plumbing was old but clean and the lighting was also old. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook and more. The host was very good and responsive, we had no problems and had a nice stay”

“Peregrine House is situated on a quiet road in a peaceful location with a lovely view of the bay and gorgeous sunsets. There is easy access to the town of Castine and the house is a short walk to the beach where we enjoyed swimming. The house was well-equipped. The beds and living area were comfortable. Mary Lou was responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“This is super convenient to both Bangor and Orono. This large 2 bedroom apartment is above a 3 bay garage so you don’t have to tiptoe. It is thoughfullydesigned so you have everything your need for either short or very long stays including a large bathroom with a washer and dryer. The beds are extremely comfortable and the sectional couch is a relaxing place to wind down. Very easy entry and great communication with the host. A great bargain!”
