high highs and low lows
The day before our trip, mgmnt called to say our place wouldn’t be ready until 5 due to a cleaning mixup—they misread the calendar thinking we were checking in that day. The next day we received a similar call—our place wouldn’t be ready until 430. They offered free coffee nearby but since the wait seemed short and we were arriving at 4 we decided to wait in our cars. Cleaners arrived 4:05 & we tried to reach management since it was clear the house wouldn’t be ready by 430 but we never heard back. The cleaners finished at 5 & by then the kids were hungry/tired from skiing, while we were frustrated by the delay. We had stored our food in the snow to keep it from spoiling.The house itself is nice, but note noise carries wildly. If you have kids sleeping in the loft expect to go to bed when they do. We were in the downstairs living room, whispering with the TV at vol 3 but they could hear us clearly from upstairs.The grill is connected to a gas line but mgmnt didn’t know how to turn it on when we couldn’t figure it out (we eventually did).This house is great for large groups but NOT if the sleeping/noise situation matters or if you need to arrive at 4 as that seems to be a recurring issue. We don’t blame the cleaners—it’s clear the management needs to hire more staff. We requested a late checkout to make up for the hour we lost but despite assurances we never got a response. Overall, the experience was frustrating, and I won’t be staying w/this mgmnt company again.
