Wonderful family reunion
We rented this gorgeous home for three generations of our family to gather together as we reconnected and visited family sites in Monterey and McDowell. I normally visit The Homestead area of Bath Co and knew that this property would be well maintained because of the management connection. I was not disappointed! The property is even more lovely than the pictures and was a perfect weekend retreat for the eight of us, who ranged in age from 20 - 84!

Fishing weekend
The property was everything as described. We enjoyed our stay. Everything you need is onsite. The highlight of the trip was having the neighbors cows stop by for a visit after escaping their pasture!

Relaxing getaway
The home is beautiful and the setting is lovely, although a little more remote than we expected. A couple of us didn't find the beds very comfortable, but otherwise it was really homey and a great place to get away from the everything! Convenient to Warm Springs if you want to go for a soak!

Beautiful weekend in Bath County
We had an excellent time staying at this beautiful farmhouse. We were celebrating an upcoming wedding with our families and friends and loved the house. We also got to enjoy the Maple Sugar Festival in Highland County. The property was wonderful and looked so nice with a covering of freshly fallen snow. Thank you so much for this experience!

Wonderful!
We had a absolutely wonderful time at the property. The farmhouse was perfect for our group. We loved spending our evenings by the fire looking up at that gorgeous sky. Can’t wait to come back!

Good for a weekend away with friends
Our weekend was the epitome relaxing. It’s quite isolated and the surroundings are beautiful. The property is as advertised and the property manager was very responsive. Our group was three families with young kids. The space was great for outdoor activities (including a fire pit for s’mores). The house was clean, a good size, and served its purpose. The stairs are a bit treaturous with young kids. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect for families!
Our family has gathered here several times. The house is roomy and cozy plus the scenery is beautiful and peaceful. So thankful it was available to rent recently for the location was convenient for our purpose. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great property and location
We loved our stay here. The house is so well furnished!! We prepared every single meal in house and it was easy as home! There were no activities nearby apart from great fishing and hunting... so be prepared with an agenda.

Mountain getaway
We traveled to the property for a weekend getaway with friends. Was a perfect retreat for us! The house was spacious and had a lot of mountain charm. The property was beautiful and had endless views. We loved our stay!

Family mountain vacation
Amazing farmhouse on amazing property. They thought of all the details. Only 5 of us on this trip but big enough for more (probably 10-12 depending on if adults or kids). Plenary of space to enjoy games/movies indoors, or enjoy outdoors in the big yard or around the fire pit. Great hiking, biking, kayaking. Planning a trip back in the future!

Best vacation ever!!
This property is immaculate. The backyard view is stunning and even has an Outdoor fire pit and chairs on a separate deck a little farther away. All the facilities were working perfectly and there was more than enough sleeping room for my family of 12 with even extra couches if 4 more people has joined. There is a small pond behind property that is great for fishing and exploring and the grill and firepit are fully functional. The only thing is that the wifi is not very strong and there is no service for most cell providers but there is a home landline and the wifi comes in and out but Just be prepared. Overall it was a great experience and we throughly enjoyed ourselves !

The house was big enough and spacious enough for everyone. The layout was great. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make almost anything. Loved the two living rooms. One can be utilized for the children and the other for adults if wanted. The WiFi works which was surprising in that location. No cell phone service for most of us. The area is beautiful and would be great in the warm weather to explore better. Plenty of space on the porch. We spent the day on Saturday going to Maple Sryup Festivities in McDowell and Monterey. When you start from the house and make a left it’s a forty minute ride to McDowell. The road comes out right at the firehouse
