This was a lovely property. The best part by far is the porch that overlooks a golf hole.
A few pieces of feedback for the property owner. Because renters will likely choose to rent here for a longer duration of time you may want to consider the following updates/upgrades:
- Update cable TV package beyond basic cable or advise renters that they will need a streaming service such as a Roku. We had to purchase and setup a Roku.
- 1 or 2 non stick fry pans
- Non breakable cups/glasses
- Change water/ice filter in refrigerator or reset the settings - flashed that it needs to be replaced the whole time
- A few blankets for the bedrooms in addition to bedding
- Have the renters guest passes ready and waiting for them in the home so they don't need to chase them down.
- Provide the renters some information about The Villages. Often VRBO's have a nice little welcome binder or folder with information about the renter's stay and the area. Because The Villages is SO big it would be nice for you to provide a map and some basic information about The Villages for your renters that aren't familiar with the area. This should include a garage code, keypad code, how the gates work, direction on garbage/recycling days, wifi code, check out information, etc.
Overall my parents really enjoyed their stay and the house was beautiful, clean and in a great location!
