“Stayed over a holiday weekend and this place was almost half the cost of the hotels. As others reviewed this place is very clean and has everything you’d need including a full size washer and dryer. “We had a great 3-night stay at Darlene’s bungalow. Everything was exactly as described both in the description and the photos. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the Alabama Hills and Whitney Portal. Even if you weren’t able to score permits for Mt. Whitney you can at least do a 6-7 mile round trip hike to Lone Pine Lake. It’s gorgeous! Plenty of eateries around town and some interesting attractions in Lone Pine. All in all we highly recommend Darlene’s place! ”

“West Wind certainly DID take our breath away!! Our 4-night stay there went way too fast and "tasted like more!" The views outside from every direction were spectacular and there was so much to see in the area. The inside layout was stunning and spacious! Lone Pine is an "unreal real."
