“We enjoyed our stay at the Purple Door. The views were spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck. My husband taught my daughter to fish and she loved the dock area. We did use the amenities at Captain’s Cove and drove out to Assateague Island to see the horses. The location is tucked away from major attractions but we got used to the drive after the first day. The neighbors were friendly. Enjoyed our stay !”

“We stayed for Softball Nationals during the week. Everything exceeded expectations and offered all the comforts of home to allow us to relax during down time. Spacious yard, large pool, and a lot of open space in the home for us to have personal space. Would definitely stay again! Judi was amazing and communication was always very prompt.”

“When we pulled into the property to check in, the trash container outside the garage was overflowing with trash bags. Not a great greeting. By the end of the day, it became fly infested and the bags were broken into and garbage was on the driveway for the rest of the trip. The rugs in the bathrooms were dirty and still wet from the previous stay. We had to wash them. It was very difficult to get hot water in the showers and the 2nd floor tub drain was not draining properly so we ended up...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at captains cove. The house was perfect for our needs in a beautiful location. Would recommend. It would be helpful though if there was a ladder to get in and out of the bay. Some of the steps in the front of the house should be fixed also. This did not take away from our stay.”
