Feels like Home
This house is in the top 2 that we have stayed at in the UP. Our 8th year coming up for snowmobiling and this house was perfect. The garage and dress area were the perfect addition to the house. The living room may be cozy but totally functionable. All the rooms had comfortable beds and plenty of space. The 2 full and 1 half bathroom, were great! Response time from the host was prompt. Overall excellent stay, and excellent host! We will be returning for future stays in the UP.

Great set up for sledding
Really enjoyed the separate bedrooms for guy's trip. Entry space was great for gearing up and gear storage. Location right by the trail was excellent. Will definitely rent this one again anytime.

Great for snowmobiling
Great location with a short ride to yhe trail. Nice parking for trailers. House was perfect for the 4 of us and even though the living is small it was perfect for us. Beds are comfy and the entire place was clean and comfortable. Sally was great with communication and everything was as described. would recommend this home.

Great Porkies Stay for Family
We loved our stay. The location was very close to Lake Superior, the State Park and beautiful waterfalls. The house was very nice and clean with nice hot showers. Nice and cozy house with lots of bedrooms, beds and a nice 2 1/2 bathrooms!! The kitchen/dining/living room area are a little on the small side, but definitely doable. We'd stay again!

Sally's home was a perfect home base!
After staying at Sally's home, I can understand why she has so many 10/10 reviews! The home is very clean, beds comfortable. I have never stayed at a vacation rental that is so well equipped for cooking for our large family. We played foosball, darts, watched a couple of the provided movies, had a campfire. Location of the house is perfect for any destination in the Porcupine mountains. Sally's communication was superb: helpful responses, although never saw her! We will stay again, if we come back to this area. Don't hesitate to make a reservation!

Quiet and spacious
The house has many bathrooms and beds for a comfortable stay! It is quiet and has a beautiful back porch to enjoy and a full kitchen to cook in if you like. They share activities and fun available in the area and there are 2 delicious restaurants within minutes. One has a full menu and the other pizza and subs and both were great! I recommend for large groups.

Very clean, just as described. Great central location. Went to presque isle waterfalls. Black river waterfalls. Porkies. Ontangon and Lake Superior Had great camp fires. Saw bear at local restaurant. Watched movies as we were exhausted end of day. Great communication and everything we needed was there. Thanks

Fantastic Host
She has literally anything and everything in the home that you could possibly need while away on vacation. TVs in each room and comfortable beds and seating arrangements. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and 10 out of 10 highly recommend this home.

Cute and cozy, yet very roomy
Really enjoyed our stay. All the amenities we needed, with many sleeping options and fun things to do. centrally located near many beautiful trails, beaches, parks and waterfalls! Short drive to Lake Superior. Sally was a kind and gracious hostess. Less remote than I like, but very quiet area.

Summer Family Trip
Our family took some time away to enjoy the Porcupine Mountains and nearby Lake Superior. The well-equipped house was great, both as a home base for these excursions, as well as for lounging around on rest days.

Great stay
We had a great time at Sally's place. The location worked well for our visit to the porcupine mountains. The house was comfortable and clean. It was probably the cleanest VRBO we have stayed at. The nearby beach was the perfect end to most evenings.

The place was as advertised! Engaging for 13yo son when the rain wouldn’t stop. Saw a deer walking through lawn. Quick, easy communication and check-in/out process! Highly recommend.

Great find!
House is very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The location is ideal and price is reasonable! The owner is very pleasant to work with and had great communication w me. I felt she went out of her way to accomodate us and I appreciated the effort! The house is decorated with great little decorations that make you feel welcomed. We came to hike the Porcupine Mtns, explore Ontonagon town and beaches as well as take a trip to Copper Harbor. I look forward to coming back in the winter

Western UP Hiking and Waterfall Hunting
This house was exactly as advertised. Sally was very responsive and had great suggestions for the area. Nice central location to explore the Western UP including the Keewenaw Peninsula, Porcupine Mountains, and a ton of waterfalls. House had everything needed for a 5 night stay and was clean and ready for our arrival. My wife and I had a great time!
