“My brothers and I needed a no fuss, clean and Doubtless Bay central place to stay for a family event. The bach was very clean with all the basics catered for, I would definitely stay again.”

“A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail.”

“Patrick was an absolutely wonderful host and the arrival process was smooth and easy! It was the most stunning location with a lot of space for the seven of us that stayed. Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group!...

“A new, well presented and well proportioned home for family of five (plus dog). Light and clean inside with large deck outside. Reasonably well equipped, though light on cups and good sized glasses, and no microwave (noting this wasn’t listed). For us it suited that the location meant there were no near neighbours but, at the same time, the property grounds and driveway were a bit of a building site and not yet developed. A delight to have the wild turkey and chicks roaming in the long grass.”

“Comfortable,cosy warm house with incredible views. Old, but being modernised, and had everything we needed for a winter holiday in dreadful weather even with power cuts and floods. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The only drawback was lack of tumble drier and the 22 corkscrew steps up to the house and the steep driveway. But the views make it well worth it!! Have given four stars but once redecoration etc done will deserve 5 stars without a doubt. Would love to come back.”

“Dragonfly barn was a fantastic place to stay, beautiful surroundings and the well appointed accommodation had everything you could possibly need. Close to the airport and to Kerikeri township. Very kind Hosts who left a greeting gift. I would stay there again for sure.”

“Awesome view /location and good access to the beach. The house wasn't as clean as expected, and there was limited comfy seating in the lounge, we had to use outdoor bean bags inside. Traffic from highway behind the house was very noisy and trucks shake the house. Quite expensive for what you get. No dishwasher and only 1 rubbish bag provided for family for a week stay. The washing machine only did hot washes and there was no drier. This all made the holiday not as relaxing as we would have...
