amazing house and the best view and beach access. i know beach houses can be a little sandy but the house was grubby. alot of surfaces werent cleaned,ther wer dirty dishes put in the cupboard, there was popcorn on the couch, the oven was very dirty and the bbq hadnt been cleaned in years and the beds need to be updated. for the price everything should have been perfect and pristine.

Prperty was amazing. inside house was not so clean. Dust and dog hair. Kitchen was not cleaned, counters were not wiped down and food stuck on them and insude cubbords had crumbs of food everywhere.Bedrooms were very clean

Spectacular Beach House

Fantastic location on fairly wild beach. House is relatively new and properly outfitted. We had a wonderful time with deer visiting us in the hot tub and sometimes looking in the window. We really enjoyed exploring the beach and town. My only issues were Alexa recording systems in the master bedroom and living room, and a sticker on the living room window that said something like “Video monitoring in use. You might not see us, but we see you.” This seemed a little creepy.

Great location, but the house needs maintenance.

Overall, the house was comfortable. However it is in need of maintenance. All screen doors need replacement. The fan on stove causes the propane burners to go out. There was no remote for the garage door. House needs an good cleaning.

Stayed 4 nights at this waterfront home garbage can in front of house tipped over took 3 days for mayo clean it up. Unit is small just 3 bedrooms do one of our group slept on couch. Garage very dirty outside deck dirty

Total disaster

We never got to stay! After driving 3 hours we wete so glad to get there…the house was a complete disaster! Dirty dishes old food, and the bedding had not been washed. There was a strange musty odor we looked up at the ceiling there was a huge bubblethat had been leaking water hence the musty smell! Steer clear of this prosty…don’t rent! They said they would refund us but that doesn’t make up for our ruining our vacation, and what about drive time and gas’!!!

Recommended!

The property needs some minor maintenance. Everything else is spot on. We visited in April. At 4PM, we were the only people in view. Deer wander up and down the coastline in the mornings and evenings. The house is spacious with many access points. The neighborhood (at the time) was still under construction on the outskirts of a 2,200-population town. Local grocery store and fuel and several blocks of shops and restaurants. If you like a good view of the ocean, this house serves up several from the back deck and hot tub to the primary bedroom, bathtub, and (yes) one of the toilets. WiFi signal strength was weak, at least in the kitchen/TV area, but still usable for some purposes. This was my first Vrbo rental and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Daughters Birthday girls trip

View is amazing and right on the beach. Girls enjoyed the hot tub! Over all the house needed to be cleaned and the master bed had sand all over. The downstairs TV, shower and livingroom DVD player didn't work. In the future I wouldn't stay at this house again.

Beautiful House

Loved this house so much!! What a dream. Being able to look at and listen to the sea from any room in the house, being able to run off the front deck down a private path to the beach, nothing is better! But the house was also gorgeous and perfect, and I hope to go back in the summer.

Westport stay

Overall? 4.5 /5. Would stay again. The house is beautiful, location is perfect and stunning. The reason for half star gone is the kitchen utensils/ tools need serious upgrades. The propane being empty was a hassle (easy fix, but had to make 2 store runs on a vacation where we wanted to be homebodies) for this price point we just expected smooth sailing. They did their best to make it right. Thank you for lovely memories!

Amazing Views

The ocean views from this house are fantastic, especially from the master bedroom. The layout of the house, inside and out, allows for a lot of space to spread out and relax. Use of the garage is also a huge bonus. All the amenities worked great and we didn’t have any problems at all.The house was clean, but could use a deep cleaning (inside the kitchen drawers were a little grimy and there was old food and ketchup in the knife block). You could tell that this house is a gem architecturally and with some love and updates could be a 5* vacation home.

Best Views & Ocean Breeze

We loved this home - I wish it would have been a longer trip. We stayed 2 nights. The views were fantastic. I enjoyed listening to and watching the waves. The kitchen was stocked well. The master bathroom was beautiful. Unfortunately, the hot tub did not work. The kids were pretty disappointed. The property manager responded quickly when we reached out about the hot tub. I asked for late checkout in exchange and it was granted.

Great, but…

No complaints other than receiving zero notice that the hot tub advertised was out of commission and not scheduled to be fixed until we’ll after our stay. That resulted in two very sad kids who were looking forward to the hot tub (their favorite amenity of any house).

Winter at the Beach

Our family often goes to the coast for a winter getaway. Our daughter’s family has stayed numerous times at the Jaeger home but it was my first time there. It’s a lovely and cozy place to stay especially when the wind is howling and the temperature is below freezing. The kitchen is well stocked and made cooking all of our meals in an enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to return to enjoy all of the outdoor spaces this home has to offer. Thank you!!

Amazing view, great house!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. The view cannot be beat and the house was as shown in the photos. The spaces are divided really well for a family trip —bedrooms are quiet even if people are up and socializing in the livingroom/kitchen area. Kitchen was great for cooking. Hot tub was wonderful. Would rent again!
