“While I contacted the host as soon as it became clear that the air conditioner was not working at all and the apartment was 85 degrees and she was polite and communicative, she did nothing to remedy the situation so we got very little sleep in the sweltering apartment. She apparently contacted Maintenance but they never came. There was also a road closure that made it impossible to enter the building garage. There were also no washcloths, and the kitchen had only a few glasses and no corkscrew....

“Gladys was an excellent host. She realized my original rental was double booked. She quickly provided me with an upgrade and another rental at the same location. The place was great and had convient parking. Will definitely stay again next time in Philly.”

“Location of the property was good for our plans while in Philly. Able to easily walk to old city and short Uber to Lincoln financial. Propert and building pretty dated but building felt secure.”

“Location was good but property could use an update. There is definitely a need for better communication as well. When we arrived we did not have the property number to give to security. There is no guide or info in the apartment for WiFi, guidelines for the apartment, etc. - unlike others I have stayed in. We needed to reach out a few times to get info. Location was within 10 min of where we needed to be and Reading Terminal Market was close by. ”

“The apartment was just as it was described, and very clean. Also the front desk folks were very helpful getting me situated. Very much enjoyed the neighborhood and so conveniently located for the work I was doing at a nearby school. Near to SPROUTS (a Whole Foods alternative) coffee shops and the exciting Passyunk neighborhood for delicious eats. Check out BARCELONA for great tapas. And say hi to Danielle.”
