While our stay was enjoyable, this VRBO fell short of our expectations compared to others we've visited. The Nespresso machine was a nice addition. There are issues with unreliable kitchen outlets and some unfinished electrical work above the sink. The kitchen lacked essentials like dish clothes & dish towels, relying solely on paper towels. On a positive note, the dishwasher and washer/dryer combo worked well, and detergent was provided.Despite being advertised for five guests, there was no extra bedding for the couch, which was concerning, but luckily, we had brought our own. The low furniture could pose challenges for guests with mobility issues (ie: Multiple Sclerosis, Arthritis) particularly accessing the second bedroom bed and the low couch. The main bathroom, although beautiful, had a very slippery tile floor that could benefit from a bathmat and a handrail for shower safety. Additionally, the shower tap needs upgrading as it is poorly attached. Hand towels, facecloths, hand towel & toilet paper holders were also missing from each bathroom. As a basement suite, noise from upstairs was noticeable, but the residents were accommodating when we asked for a quieter environment. They promptly responded to our requests for additional toilet paper and hand soap, which we appreciated. Despite these issues, this basement suite itself is bright and modern. With a few adjustments, it would be perfect! Please note: there are a few stairs to go down to get to this get to this suite.
