Relaxing time after boat charter
Our family decided to spend five days to relax after a week-long boat charter in the BVI. Flamingo Sunset was the perfect place! Extremely clean and had everything we would need for our stay. Watching the sunsets every afternoon was priceless. Communication with host and her team was excellent. A couple of beautiful beaches just a short drive away. Would certainly rent again and/or recommend to family and friends!

Perfect House - perfect location.
Perfect vacation for my family of six. (2 adults and 4 teens) The views from this house are amazing. The house was immaculate and had every we needed (towels beach, chairs, cooler etc.) Two if the bedrooms are only accessible from the pool deck which was fine for us but maybe not for a family with small children. House would be perfect for couples. Communication with property manager was great - timely responses to any question we had. We were greeted in person and given a tour of the house upon our arrival. This was great because it gave us the opportunity to ask any questions we had before our stay. There are two beautiful beaches close to the house. The driveway is steep but manageable once you get the hang of it. So glad we chose this house and this location for our stay on Tortola. Highly recommend.

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunset villa! We were comfortable and the view was amazing. Great amenities, especially the pool which my kids enjoyed. The kitchen area was more than we could’ve asked for. Will definitely recommend!!

Sailing from Tortola
Beautiful house with breath taking views. Perfect spot for a few days of relaxation and exploring Tortola before embarking on a sailing trip around the BVI. Super practical configuration for our family (would be great for any larger group) - plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own, spread out enough to feel like you have your own space, and large centralized gathering areas like kitchen, dining, and living area and pool deck that easily accommodate everyone. Location was great for the spectacular views, and while steep in a few spots, found the local roads accessible for walking down to two beach areas. Would recommend and would come back.

Awesome property! Clean, comfortable, well stocked with a fantastic Staff- Sharlene, Pinky, Sam and Eric were super helpful and in contact with us often and easily. Driveway is steep, but once you get the hang of it, you realize the property is well worth it!

Spacious Villa with Fabulous Sunset Views
We had a wonderful time at Flamingo Sunset even though we had only booked a few nights before a week on Jost, but the villa was great in all aspects, spacious, clean, comfortable, and the decks, pool and views were top notch. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Rental in Tortola
I rented Flamingo Sunset for a birthday celebration with 7 other friends. I cannot say enough good things about this rental! There was enough space for everyone to spread out and the views were just phenomenal. We enjoyed several sunsets at the large table on the upper deck and the pool was refreshing and very big (even had all of the pool toys!). The house was well resourced, kitchen was well stocked, and the chairs and towels made for lazy days at the beach . We even arranged for Driftwood Spa to come to the house for massages on the balcony. I would highly recommend provisioning ahead so you have essentials waiting for you (we used Riteway) and definitely order Roti from Pinky (best we had on island). The Belmont/West End area felt private and off the beaten path but close to everything g. The roads across the island and leading to the house take some getting used to, but we got the hang of it quickly and were met upon our arrival to show us the way. I could go on and on about this rental…suffice it to say book if you have the chance. Tortola and Flamingo Sunset were just magical and I know we will be back!

The house was perfect for our group! Spacious and clean. Had everything we needed in the kitchen! Easy access to lots of great restaurants and beaches! The pool was wonderful! The communication with the property managers was quick and very responsive! Really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing views! The house was lovely. The driveway takes some getting used to. Managers were fantastic. Next time we will plan better with their recommendations and referrals for car rental and boating reservations. Grocery delivery and cab driver were GREAT. We had a great time. Two of the bedrooms only have access to the main house by way of the pool deck and up a set of stairs. It was not a problem for us - the weather was perfect all week, but for young children it would be worrisome.

Perfect spot
We stayed at the property for two weeks. The check in process couldn’t have gone any simpler. If there was anything, we needed the hosts were immediate to respond and take care of our needs. The location was perfect. A very short drive down to the beaches and restaurants of Long Bay. We would highly recommend this property to anybody looking for a vacation in the BVI’s.

Comfortable stay, amazing sunsets!
My family had a brilliant time visiting while staying in this villa. We have been to visit Tortola 4 times and this is by far the best accommodation that we have had. The communication from the staff was excellent, things such as the hire car and taxi were organised for us so once we arrived at the airport there was not much left to sort. They were even so kind as to allow us a late check out on our final day. The views from the villa were brilliant and very close to Smugglers Cove which is a beautiful beach. Their book had helpful tips such as nearby restaurants. Nothing seemed like too much of a request and we would eagerly stay again on our next visit.

Gorgeous, relaxing vacation!
The views from this home are stunning and we had everything we needed to enjoy time with our family. We were a quick drive to Smugglers Cove for some of the most beautiful, peaceful aquamarine water ever. Nigel’s, Sugar Mill cafe, Coalpot, and Tropical Fusion were all super close. Oh, and ask for Captain Tom (Island Surf and Sail) for a perfect day out on the water snorkeling and exploring the islands.

Hurricane Irma/Maria worries- Not here!
When I was informed that the hotel we had reservations for would not be available (with only minor reported damage) nine months after Hurricane Irma and Maria hit, I was frantic and booked here. So I was concerned about the true condition of the property (and the island) and the representations if the old hotel wasn't even available. In addition, the lack of any visitor comments about any place made me feel that everyone else knew something that I did not know. I spoke with Sam and JC, (the managers), and had my concerns addressed, and I must say, was I ever wrong to ever be concerned! This place is fantastic. You see no material issues with the hurricane, there are not piles of litter or otherwise issues. It's almost as if the hurricane never hit this property or the immediate area. The property is gorgeous, and the views shown are the true views. The place has high ceilings that give it an airy feeling. The managers are super and always available. The description was accurate, and if anything, underplays the villa. The kitchen is fully equipped and furnished with everything that you need. The layout maximizes the view. The roads are regular BVI roads, it is only the last 1/4 mile that is unpaved (was before, still is). When you come in, they will bring you in on the upper road. We used the lower road to get in and out afterwards as it was not as steep, but a little bit bumpier. The upper road is shown to you because the lower road could be muddy if you have a major rainstorm. 4WD is not required but helps. We purchased groceries at Bobby's Market in Road Town and they have a super selection, just like a major grocery store in the USA. RiteWay is also a great choice. Go to the main stores in Road Town vs. the small local market for a better selection. There is a backup generator that was used once when a power line blew a fuse. It started by itself and was very quiet, not what I was expecting. We were not inconvenienced in the slightest. (I know now that I should have phoned the manager as soon as it occurred!) Considering this area was hit with 230+ MPH winds, it has recovered well after 9 months. The greenery is all coming back, and the citizens have really pulled themselves up by the bootstraps. Of course it has a ways to go (come on, its only been 9 months!), but I highly recommend coming to Tortola and the BVI, and especially Flamingo Sunset. There is no reason to delay, the island has and will rebound.

Great View and beyond expectations
This was a surprise, how nice and clean everything would be. It was top notch in quality bedroom amenities, the decks, patios and views were wonderful. Only negative was that darn couch. There was 5 of us and so we had to have a movie night and lots of late not chats, the couch is a bummer. The good news if you just stay out on beautiful patios and decks you never have to visit in living area, but that isn't realistic. We loved this place and have told many on our travels it was best place to stay, and awesome place to experience a tropical storm!
