We booked this room months ago as it was listed with breakfast included. The day before we received a text stating that they don't offer breakfast and would leave £10 cash per customer. This clearly doesn't allow time to book another place as concerts were being held at Sandringham, where we had booked too. So we had no choice. The message also said there was no parking, and we had to pay at a local car park, not mentioned on the site.
The room was OK, small for the price, bathroom door stuck and was noisy. The blinds are not recessed, but have a gap all round, which allowed light to flood in at sunrise, at 5am. Some maintenence also needed.
I messaged the owner back in the whatsapp chat, requesting another room with black out, but no reply. I also enclosed a photo to prove how bright it was with blinds closed. We were also next to a place that had all the air con units on the room, next to our room. None of this is mentioned on the website or in advance. The owner was the most rude obstinate person I've ever encountered. She refused to help in anyway and refused to refund, despite everything being her fault... no breakfast, bright room, air con noise etc.
The room is way too expensive for what you get. I see there are many poor reviews for this place and vile owner, extremely unprofessional. We checked out early, so she could easily resell the room, and upon requesting the £20 to be refunded as we had paid £140 a night for room, but no reply!!!!
