Fantastic in every way
Cottage was as described, from the beautiful wood floors and furnishings to its’ unique window trim. Super clean and comfortable. But what raised the barr on this rental that tickled my grits was the welcome reception into Kay and Glenn’s home each morning for breakfast. Kay is quite delightful and put out a breakfast each morning that was over the top. Glenn was at the ready with a welcoming coffee and great tips on everything from day trips to accessible biking routes. Would definitely spend my pension checks to stay again.

Review of Pond Mountain Inn
Kay and Glenn were super nice. Very accommodating to breakfast needs, and gave good recommendations of places to go. Kay made some amazing Blueberry pancakes in honor of my mom that passed. And now she makes amazing red velvet pancakes with icing. Coffee was different every day, and very knowledgeable of area. Will be coming back again. I am from Maine originally, so this felt like home. Very welcoming.

Great weekend
I highly recommend this property. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. The hosts are wonderful people who made us feel at home and very welcome. Glenn’s insight about the area was spot on. Kay’s cooking was incredible. It was a great way for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary.

Glenn and Kay are superb hosts!
The property is exactly as it looks in the pictures - very clean, comfortable, and well equipped! Glenn and Kay went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, and provide delicious breakfast (with lots of options). They also provided us with tips about the area such as trails to hike, places to eat, etc. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Stay!
We absolutely loved this property and the owners! The property is just as described. We stayed in the cottage. It was immaculate upon arrival. I can’t say enough good things about our hosts Glenn & Kaye. They were an absolute delight. They made us feel so welcome! And Kaye’s cooking was exceptional! She made the best breakfast for us each morning. By the time we left I felt like we were leaving friends. This was a great rental! If you love nature, like your solitude, require immaculate lodging and enjoy having a delicious breakfast each morning with two wonderful people, this is the place to be! Thank you Glenn and Kaye! I hope our paths cross again some time! It was so nice meeting you☺️

Stunning property and Fantastic Hosts!
We had never been to Vermont before and chose Pond Mountain Inn based on feedback from previous guests. I can honestly say that this property and our hosts, Glenn and Kay, were the best that we have encountered in over 5+ years booking through VRBO. The cabin was immaculate, Kay's breakfasts were fabulous (I miss them already!), and Glenn and Kay's knowledge of available activities is extensive. They gauged our various interests during discussions and made suggestions which were right on point. Glenn and Kay do everything they can to make sure their guests enjoy their time on their property and in the area. I can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our time there - this is one trip that we intend on repeating!

Heaven in Vermont
We had the absolute best time at Glenn and Kay's cottage. The cottage was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. Before our trip ended, we were already discussing our next visit. Their website helped us plan our entire trip, easily and efficiently. They were extremely accommodating and friendly. Kay's breakfasts were some of the best meals we had during our stay- and we didn't have one bad thing to eat our entire stay. I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else in Vermont, it was truly a beautiful and wonderful experience.

So nice and quiet. Great Host!!!
We arrived after a very long drive and Glen was very welcoming and hands on. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything. A full kitchen, laundry, full bath, two bedrooms. It sleeps 5 comfortably and there's plenty of room for a blow up mattress or two. It was so nice and quiet. Slept great!! Nestled into the mountains. Glenn was very informative about local restaurants and things to do. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing breakfast his wife Kay had fixed up for us the morning we left. We will definitely be back for a visit because Glenn and Kay became instant friends.

Wonderful stay at Pond Mountain Inn
My family had a great time staying at Pond Mountain Inn. Kay and Glenn were great hosts. They made us delicious breakfasts and made sure we had everything we needed. They gave us great recommendations for local sites and places to eat which it made it very easy for our daily planning. The cottage was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We’re looking forward to going back!!

Wonderful place to get away
This is by far our new favorite place to stay. It was perfect. Located in the middle of the mountains, next to a beautiful lake. Communication with the hosts was amazing and gave us all the information we needed. The house was spotless clean and very comfortable. We will definitely return.

Amazing weekend at Pond Mountain Inn
Great weekend spent at the Cottage. Spotlessly clean property and gracious hospitality by Glenn and Kay. We went for my daughters 10th and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Girls were treated with a special trip to the neighborhood farm to feed animals and us to delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at Lake St. Catherine. Glenn and Kay gave us plenty of other recommendations for things to us around. A weekend well spent!

We had a very nice getaway at the Pond Mountain Inn B&B. Everything was as expected and Glenn and Kay were very warm hosts who checked us in, showed us around the property and the neighboring farm, and supplied good conversation over a fantastic breakfast. Serene and Spectacular
My husband, toddler and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Pond Mountain Inn. Glenn and Kay are incredibly kind and thoughtful. Glenn brought down our breakfast to the cabin since it was pouring rain. They had great recommendations for the area. We enjoyed exploring the property. We visited Lake St. Catherine which is a short drive down the road. My toddler loves going to Wellsmere farm to look at the animals. The cabin was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to return!

Fantastic property - clean and convenient. The hosts were super gracious and made us feel at home. Lots to do around with kids - fishing, horse riding, a visit to VINS etc. Compared to the many places globally we have stayed, we recommend this highly.

Vermont hospitality and lodging at its finest.
From the moment we arrived until the morning we packed up and departed back to Connecticut, Kay and Glenn couldn't have been more gracious and accomodating. The charming and immaculate cottage is beautifully decorated, spacious, with plenty of comfortable beds. Even though operating an air conditioner is rare in Vermont, it was nice to know that each room could be cooled if necessary. While enjoying a delicious truly gourmet breakfast that Kay appeared to whip up effortlessly each morning, Glenn would often share his amusing and entertaining life and Vermont experiences. Kay and Glenn made us feel like family. We will be returning very soon. ...it's a special place to stay.

It was such a pleasure to meet Glenn and Kay and have the opportunity to stay in their cottage. It was clean and comfortable, close to Fall fun activities, and a great size for our party of 5. Kay's breakfast was incredible- we didn't leave a crumb behind. Will definitely be back here.

Excellent location for a family, incredible hosts
We called Glenn and Kay in desperation, sometime around 8pm, looking to move rentals immediately. Glenn was more than happy to allow me to stop by and view the location before we moved. I showed up around 9pm, was happy to find it clean and comfortable, and we came the next day. The location up in the mountain behind Lake Saint Catherine, but just a short 5-10 minute drive from everything. We went to the lake every day, but it sounded like there were experiences in the area that you could participate in. The master bedroom had a closet large enough for our travel crib, and our infant slept soundly. When it was hot, they made sure to put in the air conditioner to make things more comfortable. We were also able to fully use the kitchen, with our baking supplies, to make a cake for our daughter's birthday. The breakfast they provided was superb, and they were able to bring it to the house in the morning. I think this was strategic, so the guests could avoid the noise from our kids. In general, it was an excellent experience all around with incredible hosts.

Beautiful cottage amidst the mountains!
The place is as described in the pictures. Very clean and cozy. We loved Kay’s handmade farm to table breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. The hosts Glenn and Kay are very pleasant to talk with and they will ensure that your stay is as smooth as possible. We would love to go back in the fall!
