Lead to believe great property … no grill no fire pit.. no electricity on dock to charge trolling motor.. yard all dirt and weeds.. no water accesswhen we complained they said it was because of hurricane? But all other property near was green with “beach” area!!.. no picnic table or outdoor seating without going through house or upstairs…

If you’re looking for a 5 star ace look elsewhere. If your looking for a place to fish and relax ok

Property was as listed it’s not a 5 star hotel but a relaxing place to gather and fish. Did have a few issues but nothing we couldn’t handle.

Misleading don’t do it!

The photo shows the house. But in reality you only get the basement. The DIY basement. It had mold in both showers. It was dark and damp. Moisture leaking into the screened bottom patio. Spiders in the corners. The “ yard” had no grass just sand and weeds. There were constructions blocks stacked up in front on patio. The lawn furniture was mildewed and bird poop covered. The only redeeming thing was the view and the wild life.

Amazing River Hideaway

My family and I had an awesome stay at this place, cozy with plenty of space for a fun weekend on the river. I would 100% stay at this location again. My overall rate is a 9.5 out of 10, only issue is the bushes, and tall grass in front of the dock. Tons of deer and turkeys running

Spring Break 2024

Absolutely loved it. I lived in satsuma for a few years almost 20 years ago and still have family in the area. We also had family visiting from NY and the place was excellent. So much room, a dock on the river and the public boat ramp just under a mile away! The house had everything we needed and more!!

Great location for a comfortable vacation

We really enjoyed our stay, the property location was fantastic and the area tranquil. The vacation property itself was well equipped and comfortable. It was a shame that due to recent heavy rains the dock wasn’t easily accessible as the river was high and the back yard waterlogged but the views from the back porch easily made up for this. Worth mentioning that cell service was spotty, so if you’re looking to disconnect from the digital world then this vacation home is perfect.

Amazing place

What an amazing place to stay if you are wanting to relax and have a good time. The back porch was amazing for the kids to play outside but not get bit by mosquitoes. Or great for adults to just relax. Boats fit great. Dock was clean, house was clean, lots of towels and toiletries. We will be abck for our annual family shrimping trip. Cute little bars and restaurants nice and close. My only complaint is that the swim area is all grown up with weeds. But we still had a amazing time!

Great House

The house was great. Beautiful view from the screened in porch to just sit and relax. The rental is for the downstairs only. Wasn't clear in the listing. Only thing missing was a firepit.

Welaka Escape

It was pretty good and the property manger was fantastic. It is sort of confusing because it is just the downstairs area rented. Not a big deal but it was a little dirty for my wife ( she is a clean freak-lol) and one night a roach crawled on her while on the couch so that scared her. I tis Florida and the water has been high so it wasn't a big deal. We enjoyed it. The owner need to invest in a lawn service though for sure. There were weeds 4 feet high trying to overtake the sidewalk that leads to the unit down one side.

The Point

Amazing location. House needs upgrades and it would be perfect. Only one dock, and do not swim. There are big Gators. Fishing is outstanding.

Everything was a dream except misunderstood host directions. Directions made it seem like it was safe to swim in sand area near house; come to find out from neighbors there are alligators in that water. That part was scary since the kids swam. Other than that hiccup it was a true joy staying here & we will be back but not swimming next time.

Nice family vacation

Kids enjoyed fishing from attached dock. Property is nice and comfortable. It is a bit of a drive to grocery store (beyond Dollar General) and to get onto "main highways" but it was a relaxing and comfortable stay. No wifi and poor cell signal is biggest complaint.
