“This was a lovely, well stocked house in a beautiful location. I would definitely stay here again. The only mentionable con was the downstairs master bed was not very comfortable and extremely noisy anytime you made the slightest movement. My spouse and I ended up sleeping in separate bedrooms as a result. Luckily, there were multiple beds so it was an easy adjustment. Again, I’d stay here again despite the bed. Our family had a great getaway! ”

“We have a huge blended family with 6 kids. Our oldest is getting married and the 2nd oldest is headed to college soon so, we planned a last minute family trip before the chaos begins. This place had it all. The view of the lake was gorgeous, the house was very clean with comfortable beds, and the hosts are so attentive and wonderful. If we weren’t fishing right off the attached docks, we were sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Marina was only a couple seconds down the road....

“We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven. It was clean and comfortable and very relaxing. The views were beautiful from every room, and the screened porch was perfect for reading a book and napping. We brought our boat, and the boathouse was nice and accessible. We hope to come back soon!”

“As a teacher conducting a field trip, this spot was a great. My family chaperoned with dogs, and the host was accomodating. I gave it 4/5 stars because it was cleaned for us right after another guest but there was a few cleanliness issues. The house is great and the host was accomodating. “We had everything we needed for a family gathering. This house is on the large part of the lake ...which is so nice for tubing and wakeboarding. The house is very clean, well stocked and has a lot of space to hang out. The host, Brian, was very helpful. We highly recommend this house!”

“The house fit our needs perfectly! Plenty of comfortable gathering spaces for the whole clan with other spaces to be alone and read a book or enjoy nature. Our week was HOT so we really appreciated all the fun things to do at the house. We also rented the pontoon and had multiple fun and enjoyable rides. Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We have decided to return next summer for our next family reunion/vacation!”

“We had a great time. The house was awesome and exactly what we needed. We had a problem with the trashcans at the curb. They were full. The owner fixed that problem very quickly. She had her Dad empty the cans. The driveway and road to the dock was a different story. The cars were fine to turn around. You could not turn trucks around at all. We had to back up the driveway every time we left. It’s not an easy driveway to back up. We had to have a truck to shuttle people up and down to the dock....
