Privacidad del lago Wedowee

Nuestra hermosa casa de vacaciones se encuentra al norte de la ciudad de Wedowee, cerca de la comunidad Swagg en el gran río Tallapoosa del lago Wedowee. Se encuentra al final de un camino de ripio de 2 millas. A veces conduzco mi mustang aquí, pero estoy más cómodo en mi todoterreno. Tenemos cuatro habitaciones y 3 1/2 baños. Todavía somos nuevos, pero acabamos de completar nuestro décimo alquiler en nuestros primeros 4 meses. Es un poco confuso encontrar el lugar y lo llevaremos allí con excelentes direcciones si decide quedarse. La casa está completamente equipada e incluye 2 cocinas, 2 habitaciones familiares, 3 porches cubiertos, armario de lavandería con lavadora y secadora, mirador en el lago pero sin bote, puedes traer tu propio o usar los kayaks que tenemos en el muelle. Esto es muy privado con un solo vecino. Disfruta del paisaje, rema río arriba unos 10 minutos y observa los nidos de águilas en los árboles que se encuentran en el agua. Hay 2 colchones inflables adicionales si tiene más de 10. Se tardan unos 15 minutos en llegar al pueblo a la tienda de comestibles. Las mascotas bien educadas son bienvenidas. A los perros generalmente les encanta pasar el rato de todos modos. Hay mucho que hacer para ellos.

La casa es de tres niveles. La planta principal incluye dormitorio principal y baño con acceso al porche, sala familiar, medio baño, armario de lavandería, cocina comedor, porche trasero con comedor, sofá cama para siestas, área de descanso de mimbre y porche delantero. El nivel superior incluye 2 dormitorios para siete y un baño grande con doble lavabo. El nivel inferior incluye dormitorio con cama queen y sofá cama, baño grande con ducha solamente, sala familiar, cocina adicional y acceso a un gran porche cubierto.

Secluded getaway
Beautiful house, dirt roads to get there, path to dock was steep. Not a good choice for ambulatory challenged people. The children loved it.

Beautiful Place
The house and property were even better than the pictures! Super nice place. The drive in was pretty rough, there was quite a bit of dog hair downstairs, and the downstairs shower did not work. Other than that, it was a beautiful place and the whole process was simple. Would recommend and go again!

It was a perfect place for our family of 12 to enjoy the lake and each other! Everything was great except for the road getting in and out! Pretty rough! The added touch of fresh flowers was awesome!

Great place for a family experience.
Pros: large home with beautiful views, canoes, fire pit and fishing gear, well stocked kitchen, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 3 decks with seating overlooking the lake., owner responded quickly to questions. Cons: downstairs microwave not working, downstairs shower not working, well water has a very strong iron taste, dog hair needed to be cleaned up.

Great getaway
The home was amazing with beautiful views! Everything was very clean and the home was well stocked. We really enjoyed swimming & kayaking. The lake is beautiful! Kim was great & very accommodating as we had to make a change with our dates. I would recommend traveling in a SUV or truck because the driveway is steep.

House was the right size. Outside was nicely done.
The house was the right size for our family. It had the right number of beds. Was very surprised to see 2 rope beds, which my daughter and her husband wouldn’t sleep on. They said they were not comfortable. The house was not as clean as it needed to be and the outside bed has covered in dog hair. Owner did respond quickly saying her mom was in the hospital and she sent something else to clean. The drive in was a little more than we expected but we had no problem since we were in a truck.

Out of town family met for family reunion
Beautiful property, very quiet, well stocked with everything you need. We stayed with other family members from out of state and we cooked to take food to a large family reunion, had everything we needed. Kids loved the boat dock and canoe.

Great lakefront property.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was provided that we needed and loved being right on the water. The drive out to the house was a bit more intense than expected(especially with boat trailers). We made one run into town for groceries so we didn’t have to drive that road much. Other than that it was perfect.

Awesome place!
This house far exceeded my husband's and my expectations. The pictures just don't do it justice. The house is exceptionally clean, and the kitchen is so well stocked! (Not often you find a rental house that actually has corningware.) The house is very spacious and well decorated. The bed in the master bedroom on the main floor was extremely comfortable. The linens and towels are of really good quality and there are plenty of them! Right on the lake it is a beautiful setting with ample seating outside to enjoy it. We would love to come again sometime.

Thanksgiving 2021
The bedrooms were laid out perfectly for our group. The home is really great and had all we needed. The basement shower was not functional and the thermostat was not working. But we managed and made lots of memories and had a lot of laughs. The 2 miles of dirt roads to get there were a little challenging so I would suggest 4 wheel drive if rainy weather. The house was great because it allowed our children and their families to be together in one place while spending Thanksgiving at my niece’s in Franklin, GA.

Wonderful Getaway!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every aspect of this property was amazing!!! There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather together AND plenty of spaces to have a spot all to yourself to read a book or take a nap. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. We spent most of our time enjoying the pier and beautiful lake. Having access to kayaks and a canoe was a wonderful bonus. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, and well stocked kitchens, yes kitchens, with plenty of fridge space made this trip easy and relaxing. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Relaxing weekend
My wife and I visited for our anniversary and really enjoyed the house. It is very private and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed taking out the canoe in the mornings, and sitting by the fire pit In the evening. If you are looking for a quiet retreat this is the place.
