I was greeted by the Host upon arrival. I was mesmerized at first glance. I am retired American Airlines and the Resort Industry. All either 5 star or 5 diamond rated. The Casita I would rated even higher. The grounds were spectacular the barnamenion was perfection. I felt comfortable alone or when my family came to visit. I highly recommend The Casita for style, cleanliness, spectacular view, grounds. I know I will always stay here when I come back to Texas to visit family and friends

Another Visit to Serenity! Best sunsets Ever!
I love visiting. Relaxing & peaceful. Bed is super comfortable, kitchen well stocked, bathroom items perfect. Enjoyed watching the birds, horses and petting the dog and cats. Its so fun feeding the horses when they visit dally. Caught a small bass & returned it to the pond. Internet connection was sporadic for laptop work. Bring your fave groceries. The Casita has everything else You need and more. Owners always respond to assist and go out of their way to make you comfortable and have a terrific visit. Cant wait to return.

Comfy Casita
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The house is so clean and very well stocked with everything you need. The hostess is very sweet and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is so beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. Will be staying again.

Wonderful getaway at the Casita
The casita did not disappoint! It was even better than I expected. Hosts Bev and Fred were very welcoming, friendly, and responsive. The interior of the casita is thoughtfully appointed and well stocked. Overall, it’s very cozy and comfortable. Outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful grounds with amazing birds and other wildlife. The hosts’ cats and dogs were quick to become my new BFFs. Overall, I was delighted with my stay, plan to return, and would highly recommend!

Cozy Casita
My husband and I loved our stay at the Casita. The property is very charming and very well equipped. The setting is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed watching the horses and all the birds. Lots of wildflowers to see along the country roads.

Loved the Casita!
Casita was great! Bev and Fred are so nice and I really enjoyed my weekend stay! I almost took Wendell the cat home with me…he and Queenie became my besties while I was there. Loved petting the horses too and seeing the pretty birds! The place was stocked to the T! Had everything you could possibly need and more. Thank you!

Comfortable Cottage
We really enjoyed this unique location with a large pond, fit pit and horses on the property. The cottage was well stocked and had very comfortable beds and was a great space for our family of 4 with 2 children under 13. The bird watching out the window was an added bonus. We had a great time and would recommend this vacation house to everyone.

Perfect Time Away
I had an excellent stay at this beautiful property. The location, atmosphere, and accommodations exceeded my expectations. I needed some quiet time to reset from the City and found complete relaxation at the Casita. I enjoyed feeding the horses and fishing as well. My son joined me for a day visit and loved the home and the outdoors. We caught 2 Brim in the lake & tossed them back for good sport. I was able to connect my firestick to catch up on my fave netflix and hulu shows. The already convenient direct tv was available along with wi fi in the casita. Every type of kitchen condiment and cooking utensil was present. The bathroom was very clean and accommodating - complete with fluffy high grade towels, body wash, and a bathrobe. The bed was inviting and provided a peaceful nights rest. I loved watching the birds and the cats from the living room. No detail was missed by the amazingly kind hosts. Quiet - Peace- Safe- Exceptionally Clean. Ill be back!

AMAZING Slice of Heaven
My partner and I wanted to get away from it all, and we could not have been happier with our time at the Casita! The space was lovely, clean, and felt like we were at home. Bev & Fred are so kind and hospitable! And because the casita is connected to their barn, we got many horse and barn cat sightings (one cat Queenie because my best bud when I would go outside). They provide and incredible kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need aside from milk, meats, and produce (they even provided eggs!). It’s about 15 miles to get to the nearest grocery store, but we loaded up while adventuring in a neighboring town (Granbury) and had an amazing time fully away from the world. I cannot say enough kind things about the property, but especially the hosts. I hope to return with my children soon ❤️

Peaceful and serene
This casita was everything I hoped for! As soon as I walked in the door I felt peaceful. The hosts were gracious and let me have as much privacy as I needed. Just outside the sliding glass door is a view of the farm and lots of birds to watch. It was a slice of heaven. I left rested, refreshed, and ready to deal with life again.

A wonderful retreat from the city!
If you want a quiet place to get away and love horses, animals, and nature you will love this place. I was excited to introduce my 2yr old to the horses and she was thrilled with them. They were so much fun to feed. I loved watching the birds each morning. The bed was so comfortable, and the cottage beautifully decorated. Bev thought of everything, and has so much stocked for your convenience. She even brought fresh baked treats! I have to admit I was hesitant to book when I saw it was managed by evolve as I’ve had some negative experiences with 3rd party management, but it is still managed by the owners, and you feel that wonderful hospitality as a result. I loved every minute of my stay and hope to come back soon. If I had to think of one thing to change, the only thing I could possibly think of would be a bench to sit on near the pond to watch the sunrise in the mornings. Beyond that, everything was beyond perfect!
