Wonderful cabin and location
The cabin is very clean and spacious and the game room downstairs was a huge hit with the kids 🙂 The location up on the mountain is wonderful and very peaceful. The host was proactive and made sure we had everything that we needed. Thank you for a great weekend!

Excellent family vacation cabin
The owner provided a very comprehensive guidebook covering numerous topics about the cabin. They checked with us via email but were not over-bearing. The access roads are all paved with room for 2 cars to pass. The cabin is very clean with three levels giving plenty of room for 6 of us. The owner labeled all the light switches which was very helpful. We appreciated the dining room table with 6 chairs for nightly family dinners. The cabin is well supplied so we just needed to bring our own groceries. Our grandson loved the lower level with wide screen tv for his games. He was the ping pong (table in garage) champ beating all of us. The cabin is an easy drive (20-25 minutes) to Maggie Valley and Waynesville. The week went too quickly but we enjoyed our stay and appreciate how accommodating the owners were,

Absolutely wonderful.
This is truly a wonderful vacation rental!!! We loved everything about this house and the area. The home owners have thought of everything to help make your stay perfect. The beds were comfortable. It was so clean. The kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed all the games in the house…especially my 3 teenage kids. My kids really enjoyed the pool table. There was plenty of room around the table to play easily. We loved exploring the area. You should definitely take the drive to Cataloochee Valley to see the elk and explore the historic buildings. It was a magical experience. Don’t forget to watch for the fireflies lighting up the fields in the evening . Make sure you have breakfast at Joey’s Pancake House in Maggie Valley. So good! Also check out Soco Falls if you like waterfalls. Great spot for pictures. We also went to Lake Fontana for a fun fishing trip and enjoyed a visit to Bryson City. There was so much to see and do. We would definitely go back and stay here again.

Family vacation
Well stocked with toilet paper, garbage bags, dishes, hand soap, dishes. Nice having shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Very clean home. We enjoyed the hugh porch, the game room & pool table. Would stay again.

Fantastic Getaway Location
The house was beautiful. It was everything we wanted and more. The location was great for riding motorcycles around the area. The owners were very communicative and made sure we were happy and had everything that we needed. We will definitely be staying here again when in the area.

One of our favorite VRBO rentals to date!
Bob and Eilane’s home is simply awesome. Our three boys had so much fun on our long weekend vacation to the mountains.. When we were not busy exploring, the kids kept busy with all the games and activities the house had to offer. The home is super spacious and the layout is perfect. The home is overstocked, which was a wonderful surprise :) Excellent wifi, tv service were also a huge plus. The home is in exceptional shape. You can tell it’s well loved and cared for by its owners. The area lends so much to do. We didn’t have a ton of down time bc we planned so many activities like skiing, bowling, shopping, escape rooms, and the casino !! But the tv over the fire place in the large living room lended for lots of family time as well. The kids enjoyed pool and fuse-ball as well. The home is situated on the side of the mountain which lends for incredible views. Considering the home is located in a mountainous area, the terrain is better suited for and SUV in the winter ( in my opinion). But the roads are all paved to the home which is unlike many homes in the area ( another bonus). Adventure seekers would love this property! :) The town of Waynesville has SO much to offer. As a fellow vacation property owner I was VERY impressed by how well this home was set up. The owners spare no expense in providing a comfortable, clean home with lots of down time activities. Bob was such a pleasure to work with along the way. I hope he will lend us his home again soon bc we would LOVE TO RETURN !!! Thank you Bob and Eilane for allowing us this incredible opportunity to share your amazing property for a few days!!! :)

Christmas in the Smokies
Beautiful clean property! Very large cabin with quiet neighbors and a lot of privacy. The owners are very proactive and communicative! Our family enjoyed the entertainment room downstairs. We would definitely stay again!… The cabin had a few Christmas/winter decorations up that we appreciated and enjoyed! Owners were friendly and kind!

Perfect location to get away
My family met up with a family we have known for years from two different parts of the country and we found the perfect meet in the middle location. The house is very welcoming and equipped with everything, literally everything we needed was there. We didn't even eat out once, we used the kitchen for all our meals and because we came down during cooler weather (low 50s) we stayed in by the living room fire and watched movies and played board games. There's a lot to do or nothing to do depending on your preference but we were comfortable for the entire week. The hosts were very attentive and answered questions very quickly. And the location is a little out of the way but worth the drive, the neighbors were replacing a roof and we barely noticed, I would recommend this to any who wanted to get away and if we are in the area we'll rent this location again.

Amazing home with LOTS of amenities!
This is the perfect getaway. There is so much to do at the home, that you don't have to leave unless you just want to do so. With all of the game options, we never got bored and there was something for everyone. Our party's ages ranged from 18-75 The large wrap around deck had plenty of seating and were deep enough that they could be enjoyed even when it was raining. One day of our trip, it rained all day but we were able to enjoy the outdoors by spending the afternoon at the table on the deck playing board games and never got wet. If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen was well equipped. The home was well stocked with some starter items and great quality towels and wash cloths. The only disappointment was with the TVs. We lost connection a couple of times when watching a program because somebody outside the home logged in on another device. This probably wouldn't be a problem if you have a service of you own that you can log in to while visiting. Since there were so many other things to do, this was not as much of an issue as it could have been but worth mentioning. We will definitely visit again.
