Even better than expected!
We had a very relaxing and easy stay in the cottage. The unit was clean and larger than it looks in the photos - it very comfortably fit four adults. We are very familiar with Elk Lake and were a little worried that there would be late-night noise coming over from Jake's Tavern next door, but we had no issues (even on a holiday weekend!). Having access to the kayaks was a huge bonus. Would certainly stay here again!

Memorable!
We had a lovely stay at the Lily Pad! We really appreciated having access to the kayaks, having a full kitchen with everything we may have needed, comfy beds and couches, a porch looking out on the lake and a smart tv for those nights to unwind. It was rainy 3/4 days we were there, but we found more than enough to do. Frank's place nearby was excellent! We went to Prompton Falls, Jim Thorpe, the Old Jail, Lake Wallenpaupack for our beach day, kayaking and a few trails. The view of the lake was unforgettable. Jake's Tavern right next door was quite convenient. I will say, the local grocery store, Hayes, looked like they were closing. Their shelves were basically bare (like the height of COVID). So it may be a good idea to bring the majority of your food. The guest book was super helpful in seeing what others enjoyed during their stay too. At one point I couldn't find the hairdryer and messaged the host. Next thing I know it was right at our door! Suprisingly quick response! When we arrived we did notice the floor didn't look vacuumed in a couple spots and there were a few hairs in the shower. This didn't bother us too much, but something we noticed. Everything else was perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Lake Stay
This was a perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed the yard and the fire pit at night. Even though it rained for a bit we had plenty of room relax inside and wait for the rainbow to come out. The porch is an inviting space to read or just sit and visit. Just steps from the lake and kayaks to use if you want to take a paddle around. Definitely will be back next year.

Relaxing by the Lake
This is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking to relax and have a low-key vacation. There are opportunities for hiking, shopping, and other activities all within a short drive or you can simply swim, canoe, or kayak right at the lake. The hosts are amazing and the property is clean and well maintained. We have stayed here several times and will be coming back again.

Property was very cozy. Great view of lake and mountains. Private dock 25 yrds from the front porch. Didnt use the grill but cooked over the fire pit in yard. There are multiple kayaks and canoes that we used to explore the lake. Very relaxing place and hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful Place to Stay
The Lily Pad at Elk Lake is a great spot if you want a truly relaxing vacation. There are plenty of low-key activities to occupy your time while staying at the lake: canoe/kayaking, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing with a good book. There are also plenty of activities that are just a short drive away in the neighboring towns. The unit was very clean and provided all of the amenities we needed. Jon and Beth are wonderful hosts! They are very accommodating, friendly, and provide a welcoming atmosphere so anyone feels right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

Relaxing Yet Active Weekend
We had a great time at the Lily Pad! Perfect location with great kayaking, fire pit (the stone pile helped block the wind a little!), yard games and Jake's Tavern. The unit had the perfect table for games, comfortable beds, and cable to watch the Phil's lose the world series (only negative of our stay). We will be back again!

The property is located in a beautiful setting. Even though it rained most of our stay, the property was a cozy little hideaway for us. The residents around the lake are very warm and welcoming. Perfect for our family.
Comfortable and homey with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and ACs worked great. Having Jake's next door was convenient and proximity to the water was great for the kiddos. Hope to stayvhere again!

Great Host And Fantastic Location
The host gave us all we needed to have a great time. There were kayaks and canoes for out door activities and for the indoors we had a bunch of games to choose from. The beds were nicely arranged. Kitchen afforded all the necessary amenities. Affordable. Flexible. Reasonable.
