“Overall a nice place”

“The host was fantastic to communicate with and responded to our concerns immediately however the state of the property was hard to overlook. The cleaning was only superficial (the host said that he had a deep clean booked soon) and there were many things that needed rectifying. The photos were obviously taken after the property was last renovated but it needed some tlc again soon. Fridge and bbq were rusty and needed replacement. The host fixed anything that could be fixed and the location was...

“We recently stayed here for a couple of days while attending a family reunion. We were so impressed with how clean & tidy the house was. Our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed playing & napping in the enclosed yard. The deck had a beautiful breeze which was lovely on the hot evenings. The location is fantastic, really close to everything. Our kids are keen to come & stay here again soon! ”

“This house is great for a big family of group of friends. Easy access - the river is opposite and has a swimming beach and water activities. Alexandra Headlands and Mooloolooba beaches are only a short drive away. The granny flat is lovely and modern. The house is old but in good condition. We had a wonderful time. ”

“This was a really great stay and great location if you need to be close to the canals or the jetty for the boat hire. Only 4 stars as you have to clean and pack away the dishes yourself before you check-out at 10am. Not the easiest task if you have a family breakfast in the morning before you depart.”

“This is such a fantastic holiday house. Quiet location within a 10 minute walk to everything, beach, coles, cafe's, surfclub. The kids loved being on the canal, loveing the easy access for fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding.”

“The house is lovely & comfortable, and pool areas nice. We had a problem with the fridge but Tina replaced it with a new one within 24 hours. She is a terrific host and very pleasant to deal with, gave us tips on where to go and restaurants to visit. Would recommend 😊”
