Perfect Family Retreat on the Hudson!
We recently stayed at a wonderful property positioned along the Hudson River in the Adirondacks, and it was absolutely perfect for our family gathering! The house itself was clean and spacious, providing enough beds and private bathrooms to comfortably accommodate our large family, which included kids ranging from 1 to 16 years old. The entertainment barn was a hit with everyone—it featured a ping pong table, a bar, a refrigerator, and even a disco ball with a dance floor that the kids absolutely loved. The fire pit became our nightly gathering spot, offering ample seating for cozy bonfires. There was no shortage of fun indoors either, as the house came stocked with plenty of family board and card games, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner was outstanding in their communication, responding immediately to any inquiries we had via text, making our stay smooth and pleasant. The location itself was fantastic, nestled in nature yet close to exciting activities like the Adirondack extreme adventure course, among others. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting memories with our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great family getaway in the Adirondacks!

Nice house and helpful host
Lovely house with nice amenities. Good spaces to meet as a family and spend time together as well as plenty of rooms for privacy when needed. The owner Emily was very helpful throughout the process and took care of our requests timely. Check-in and check out was easy.

Bachelor Party Weekend (11 adults)
Our group had an amazing stay at this property! If you can't already tell from the photos there are 16 individual beds here so there was plenty of space for our group of 11 to spread out. There also happened to be 11 Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Overall the house was very clean and tidy, we did a good amount of cooking and while we didn't have a chance to use the grill, all of the appliances worked well in the kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pots, pans, and utensils we needed as well as a few basic spices in the cupboard. We had a lot of fun with the hot tub and it warmed up quickly. All 4 showers were nice and the hot water ran very well and seemed to already be stocked with shampoo and body wash. I can't speak highly enough about Emily who was our main point of contact during our stay. The few very minor issues we had she responded and resolved them very quickly. If I had to be nit-picky I would suggest anyone who stays here to make sure they bring extra garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry and dish detergent. We brought all of that stuff with us anyway so it was no big deal. There was also one bedroom downstairs that has a single bunk bed in it that doesn't have a window so if you're claustrophobic, I'd select a different room. Everyone was very comfortable and slept well in their beds. Plenty of beach towels stocked throughout the entire house. All in all, I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

we had a sizeable bachelor party over 3 nights and nobody felt cramped. the groom was thrilled, and we all had an great time. evenings with the fire pit and longhouse™️ can’t be beat, and short distance to top of the world golf and saratoga springs racetrack

Fun Family Time
Fun stay at the cabin with the family of all ages. Property was extremely clean! Being a first time renter in Vrbo I wasn’t sure what to expect. We definitely brought items we didn’t need. Kitchen is fully stocked. Beds were comfy with enough if linens and blankets for all. Due to extreme cold weather, there was a minor issue with the water in one faucet. The owner was immediately responsive and the issue was resolved. Fun time, I look forward to another booking in the future.

The Perfect Adirondack Escape for a Large Group
For the last decade, every year, for Halloween, I host a gathering of friends from grad school. In the 10 years we've been doing this -- at a different location each time -- our stay at this location was hands down the best experience we have had. Beautiful, well-maintained property, with a fully stocked kitchen (there is an immersion blender!), modern appliances, a wonderful fire pit area and an awesome barn to hang out in. The location is close enough to the nearest town to not be inconvenient for the inevitable runs to the grocery store, but also far enough away that it feels secluded. And, the Hudson river is RIGHT THERE. Just across the street. And it's just loud enough that you can hear it running when you are outside, but not inside. It adds an incredible serenity to the atmosphere. The beds are comfortable, and the walls are thick enough that even with 19 people in the house, no one had trouble sleeping. Host was very responsive to the few questions we had, which is great both because they were very accessible as needed, but also because everything was so well set up that little guidance was required as we were getting settled in. It was an absolute treat to stay here, and we will absolutely be back!

Boys Weekend
We came up to the Lake George are with 16 guys to spend the weekend for the horse races. This was the perfect size house to fit all of us. Plenty of space both indoors and out. The backyard and barn were Awsome. Emily was a great host upfront and clear about everything. Accommodated us with every request and was very helpful. Would go back again.

Long Weekend Upstate
This property is a great option for large groups of all ages. Plenty of games provided such as giant Jenga, corn hole, and ping pong. Kitchen was perfect preparing large quantities of eggs and bacon for breakfast, as well as a grill which was useful for other meals. Spent one day at Saratoga racetrack, approx 45 mins away from the rental. Another day was spent golfing at Top of the World Golf Resort, 30 mins away. The hot tub was a perfect way to wind down the day!

This property was exactly as listed. It was a great place to stay. A little far from actual Lake George but that didn’t matter since you can swim right in the Hudson River. Lots of space, lots of beds for everyone. Would definitely recommend this property to others

Great family getaway
We enjoyed our time here (18 family members) plenty of room for everyone,the kids enjoyed the barn activities. Fire pit with S’mores every night. Kitchen very well supplied,we used paper plates for everything. My one concern was there was only one towel per bed and no washcloths anywhere luckily I had disposable wet wipes. We had a problem with the basement toilet twice and the owner was readily available and sent a repair person within 30 minutes. Lake George is about 20 minutes away,the town of Warrensburg 10 minutes

Great place for a big friend group!
This place was fantastic! Massive place with plentiful beds. Hot tub was fantastic, clean, and kept temperature the entire trip. Huge outdoor space that keeps on going. Definitely would return.

Great Ski House
This house was exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of space for our group and a great layout. The main living room was perfect for a ski rental (the couch was so super cozy) and the hot tub room was wonderful after a full day on the slopes. The house manager was quick to answer any questions I had. Check in was a breeze and a very close drive to gore Mountain. The only things I could say is the downstairs was a bit cold for the people who were sleeping down there, and the toilets were a bit weak downstairs as well. All and all we loved our rental choice and will be back (hopefully with a warmer basement)

Overall we had a great time but the property could definitely use some upgrading. The basement had a musky/sewage smell, the main oven didn’t work, the kitchen sinks were clogged, one bathroom in the basement was out of order and there was a septic tank alarm that was going off which we didn’t know how to go about turning it off.
