“The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. “Nine adults and 6 young children all had a great time. Only one day warm enough for the pool but lots to do locally for kids and within an hours drive. House very well provisioned and wanting for nothing except very localised WiFi. Would go back.”

“We really loved staying at this house. It’s in the perfect location, stepping out straight into the woods. We spotted 4 deer at sunset on one day, and came across many of the wild horses that roam around in the area. Several great walks in nearby woods too. We recommend visiting the Raptor Centre nearby too. The house was perfect for us. Everything you could need. It was clean & tidy. We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco & a lovely chocolate cake! Anne greeted us and came to say goodbye...

“The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. Thoughts where the cottage could benefit: adding a mirror in the bedrooms...

“Lovely apartment in a great location close to all amenities. Very well equipped and furnished, we were very comfortable for our 3 night stay. If you have reduced mobility as my husband has then getting in and out of the bath could be an issue. It is very high sided so he couldn@t use the shower. The allocated parking space is also small for a large car.”
