Disfrute de unas vacaciones de playa a la antigua usanza (con todas las comodidades) en una encantadora casa de estilo victoriano situada en el centro del bullicioso Walton on the Naze (pero con estacionamiento asignado en una calle residencial) t. Aquí no encontrará hoteles ni cadenas, pero encontrará una gran cantidad de largas playas de arena, un muelle, tiendas de pescado y patatas fritas, tiendas de regalos, tartas y purés, parques de atracciones y una reserva natural. Tiempo de caminata -1 minuto a las tiendas / cafés, a 2 minutos de las playas y el muelle, a 5 minutos de la piscina y el centro de ocio
Propiedad: jardín frontal cerrado, a través de salón / comedor con ventanas francesas a un pequeño jardín. Cocina con todos los electrodomésticos modernos (lavadora en el cobertizo). Arriba, dos dormitorios, uno con una cama doble y el otro con una cama king size y una cama individual pequeña. Baño y baño separados en el piso de arriba y otro aseo en la planta baja. Tenga en cuenta que esta calle es una calle interior de la "ciudad": hay niños a ambos lados de la casa y juegan en las calles con todos los ruidos asociados. En general, la calle es muy tranquila por la noche con muy poco tráfico, ya que no es una carretera secundaria.

Lovely cottage
I recently stayed at this cottage. The location is fantastic—close to key attractions and amenities, a few mins walk to the beach! Good size rooms, 2 toilets is a plus. I guess, after busy summer holidays rental it needs a bit more attention and cleaning. Truly great place to stay.

A lovely cottage
It was just myself, my Husband and my 12 yesr old Grandson. The cottage was lovely. Very comfortable and homely. It had a warm and welcoming feel about it. Very close to shops and a short walk to the beach. Spotlessly clean and everything provided by the host for a perfect stay. We hope to go back again very soon.

Ideal for small family group
The property is ideal for a family vacation as its just 5 mins walk from the beach. Is also very close to shops/takeaways and pubs. The property itself has everything you need although the TV is a bit small. Saying that, we never actually switched it on. The games cupboard is fully stocked in case of rainy days and we found the beds comfortable. Its an old house, do not expect flash and modern on the inside, its cosey and clean and was fine for our long weekend away.

Really had good weekend break with a friend. The accommodation was tidy and clean. We took 2 dogs with us. The location of the property was brilliant , it was 2 minutes away from the shops and 5mins from the beach. The area is dog friendly beaches.

Well located and reasonably comfortable but needs some updating.
A good location for exploring this area of coastal Essex. Immediate environment a bit scruffy. Good walks for the dogs along the coastal paths. The property is a Victorian cottage which has been altered to create more space. There are two comfortable bedrooms and bath/shower room. The overall decor is now dated and inconsistent. I would definitely do away with the plastic flowers! The small back garden is not really suitable if you have dogs as it's covered in Astroturf so is difficult to clean - it would be better if it was removed. Parking is easy as there is a designated space outside. The information folder could be more comprehensive and include details of the area, walks etc It says that refuse collection is on a Tuesday but the bin men arrived early Monday so we missed them.

Just lovely as always. It's perfect for us so close to the beach and shops, nothing is too far. The house is bright and spacious with all you could need. This is our 4th stay I think, and we will return. Thank you Jan x

Property was clean tidy and beautiful loved it only one query really not a complaint but would have liked to use the internet but, the password supplied was not correct tried numerous times but came to the conclusion that it was not the right one but did not upset our holiday in any way shape or form thank you

Very near to Walton high street and the beach/pier.
The property is very nice. It has all the amenities that you would need. A washing machine, wifi, kitchen. You can also park your car on the drive. Close to all amenities in Walton on the naze. There is also an Aldies near by. The stairs are a bit narrow, so may be a bit difficult to climb for an older person or someone who is not physically able, there is a handrail.

We returned for a second time. Kids absolutely love the Santa beaches and exploring the coast. Locals are all friendly too!!!! Already thinking about next year!!!!

A little disappointing
I knew it was dog friendly but didn’t expect holes in the settee. Wires had been taken out from tv and found it hard to use cooker (induction) but phoned host who sorted it out quickly. In good position but the area was a bit run down and untidy. However, enjoyed our stay. Beds very comfortable.

Great property, very spacious with plenty of room. Good location, 5 minute walk to grocery stores and the sandy beach. Jan was lovely, fixing any problems that arises quickly due to good communication. Overall felt very comfortable and had a great stay. 👍

A long awaited family get together
Great location, good amenities close by and a lovely clean beach. The cottage is perfectly placed...in an ordinary street, with local friendly people. The cottage could be lovely, nice kitchen and bathroom...but there were a few issues. It was quite grubby, sticky floor, tired sofa coming apart at the seams, stained pillows...terrible smell from shed that made me vomit (washing machine is in there, definitely couldn't use it) broken drain cover in yard, which was a hazard. Just all a bit unloved and shabby. But we had a nice time being altogether as a family after a long time. I contacted the owner privately when I was home a week later, to update on the issues in case they were unaware and could resve the issues. Unfortunately I received a negative response, they confirmed they visit regularly, thought I was looking for a refund and dismissed my concerns. I will raise with VRBO but felt I should share my review.

Lovely Stay
We (a family of 4 with 2 young children) stayed here for 2 nights at the end of May and really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The beds were comfortable and there was even a bed guard for toddlers which came in very handy. The house is in within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops, even for little legs. We visited Walton and Frinton beaches and they were both beautiful, clean and very quiet. Our children didn’t want to leave!
