Great cabin with all the amenities! Highly recommend this beautiful cabin and the hosts were very accessible and helpful! The outdoor space was a major draw. Love the area and its location is close to everything.

Summer vacation
We enjoyed our northern Michigan vacation. The cabin was great for 4 people. We ate at the cabin mostly and the kitchen was good for cooking. The location was good with easy access for groceries and activities. It is a very comfortable cabin.

This is my 2nd summer staying here for an extended period. It’s become home away from home. Just perfect! Clean, great location, and super comfy. The owners are delightful and always made sure I had what I needed.

A great cabin with great hosts!
This cabin just off Walloon lake was exactly as advertised. Clean, tidy, nice inside. Easy check in / check out, no unreasonable expectations of cleaning. It looked just like the pictures. David and Jenny were so welcoming to our little family and provided countless recommendations of places to visit and things to do in the area. Our one critique is the age / comfort of the mattresses considering the price, but otherwise exactly what we were looking for! We would recommend staying with David and Jenny to anyone.

Darling cabin!
This is a beautiful, classic, log home in darling Walloon Village! The owners were so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cabin is so well appointed I can’t say it enough, from the clean and perfectly sized hot tub to cozy beds and well appointed kitchen! I Love to cook and use kitchens when I rent VRBO‘s and this one has it all, ice cream scooper, every knife and pot and pan you could imagine. There is also a washer and dryer which came in handy and had a nice folding table, which was a great touch and recycle bins which I really appreciate. We did not use the gas grill, but I have no doubt it’s clean and works great. The front porch sitting area has a really nice propane fire table in case you don’t want to tackle starting a fire in the backyard fire pit! The cabin is situated on a beautiful wooded lot with nice trails that you can wander through and look at plants, birds and trees. It is just a few minutes drive from Boyne city, Boyne Mountain, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs and would be a very easy drive to hit Mackinac Island for the day too. The Wi-Fi worked great and there are plenty of movies and games to entertain when the weather is cold or rainy. I highly recommend this great cabin!

Great Ski Weekend Cabin
David and Jenny's place was perfect for my group of 4 ski weekend getaway. The 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain is so easy and 10 minute drive to Petoskey is perfect for a bite out to eat, grocery pickup, or casino trip. The drive to Boyne Highlands is only about a half hour away as well. We loved the clean hot tub and string lights in the back yard to relax after a long day on the slopes. David and Jenny provided great communication and had plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. Would love to stay again!

Perfect getaway
This log cabin was a perfect mid-winter getaway for my family. The cabin is nicely updated and decorated, with everything clean and comfortable. It is a short 5 minute walk from walloon lake downtown, and a short drive to Boyne City, Petosky, and Charlevoix.

Cute and Clean Place, Great Communication
The cabin was super cute, clean and definitely well taken care of. It had everything we could possibly need and it is a great location (close enough to things but still have the privacy of your own place). The hosts were amazing when it came to communication and ensuring all our needs were met throughout the trip. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property my to anybody looking for a nice place for a getaway.

Perfect Cabin!
Our stay was absolutely perfect! The cabin was exactly what we expected and had everything we needed! It was about a 10 minute drive to the nearest town with all the stores and shops you need. It was also only a 2 minute drive to the water where there was this delicious restaurant called Broken Barrel. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cute getaway!

My husband and I came up hoping to see some color in beautiful up north Michigan and we were not disappointed. The house was absolutely adorable very clean and cozy!! The property and home were very well maintained. We will be returning!!! The hosts were wonderful! A definite must stay!!!!

Lovely and comfortable cabin. Great location.
We had a lovely stay in this darling cabin. It was so clean and really comfortable. It was a great base for going all around the area. Right by the little “town” of Walloon and it’s little beach area. Very close to Boyne City and easy to travel to Petoskey and Charlevoix and Bay Harbor. You can see all the care and pride the owners have in the house. They live right next door and are as nice as can be. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Everything you could possibly need is in the house. Very comfortable furniture. I highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting the area.
