“We came to town for a baby shower. Since we all travel from different directions, renting a house is the best choice. This home was perfect for all of us. The decor is very quaint and gives the home a real family feeling. We all enjoyed learning about the history of the home. Would love to stay there again.”

We came to the area for Burgess Falls (which was breathtaking… we did the hiking overlook trail and then also kayaked with a guide to the base of the falls) It was a great adventure. The property description lists Burgess as closer than it is… it is a 35-40 minute drive but worth it! ”

“The house is not what we were expecting after looking at the photos. The house is historic, but it needs a lot of updating and has a very dark, old feeling. Bugs were found in the kitchen, front bedroom, and bathroom including small roaches, spiders, and stink bugs. The mattress in the front bedroom is an old spring mattress and very uncomfortable. Stink bugs and spiders were in the front bedroom. The kitchen supplies were old and outdated, and we saw small roaches crawling around. The den couch...

“The house was perfect for us and in a great location, on a quiet country road, but still within a short distance to state parks and stores. The house was clean and spacious, with a nice yard. The owners were very nice, easy to get in touch with and had quick responses. We had a great time exploring the state parks and visiting family, with a nice place to stay!”
