“Amazing stay at Anantara in Tangalle. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Especially Piyal our butler who made every effort to make our stay and unforgettable one. Rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathroom with a nice rain shower. The bed is really comfortable. Restaurants at the resort are good, we really enjoyed the Italian restaurant Il Mare (Risottos are delicious)”

“Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. ”

“Eine wirklich wunderschöne Oase direkt am Strand. Es ist alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet und das Hotelpersonal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bisher unsere beste Erfahrung in ganz Sri Lanka, es hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht und es wurde auf unsere individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Das Essen wurde abends frisch zubereitet und ansonsten kann man sich jederzeit Getränke nehmen. Der Strand ist besonders schön, ebenfalls gibt es zwei Pools in der Anlage sowie Liegen die zum verweilen...

“Fabulous boutique hotel, rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Food is excellent, we had breakfasts and an evening meal. Food was well prepared and presented by the Chef. All the staff are friendly and very respectful. Has a great pool too. ”

“Great property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka ”
