“The room looked exactly like the pictures. However, there were hair in the shower, spiderwebs throughout the bedroom, mold in the bathroom and the hot water tap was leaking and super difficult to close/open.
Staff were very friendly though. ”
“Good kitchen with stove and microwave but no microwaveable cooking dishes. Good internet and lighting. Hotel is on main road so some truck noise early in the evening. Close to the National park and shops. Compact room but adequate for a couple.”
“We love it here! We’ve stayed before and we will return! Great set up in the chalets, perfect for us with 2 kids. Walking distance to the big carrot playground and into town for restaurants, bakery etc. 25 min up to Turoa and less than an hour to whakapapa.
The chalets are easily heated, cosy and well maintained. ”

“Accomodation was perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of ammenities. Everything was clean and tidy and the common areas and rooms were kept to a lovely warmth. The continental breakfast was a nice addition. ”
“Great place to stop for your mountain adventure. A 3minute drive to everything in the city, parking easy in front of the room. Easy check-in and check-out. Room was cleaned after the first night, beds done and kitchen tidied up. Very clean and had everything we needed. Gave us tips regarding where to have breakfast.
