“We really our stay at this very cosy cottage. Great fire place with plenty of wood to burn. Being so near to the Raurimu Spiral for train, National Park for supplies and rock climbing and Mt Rhapehu was excellent. Our party of 10 were most comfortable. ”

“We had a group of 12 people doing an Alpine Skills course. It was ideal for our group with a good sized living area and it was warm & comfortable with the fire going.”

“No hot tub. Advertised with one. Pond was a bunch of over grown weeds. Photos online exterior not current”

“The house was great for our family of 6 adults with 4 bedrooms. Plenty of games and books provided. It is 'rustic', bathrooms are basic and the paintwork a bit patchy, but plenty of cookware provided and washing machine and dryer, as well as a fireplace.”

“I stayed there for about a week. We were able to spend a quiet and relaxing time in the midst of nature, surrounded by healthy animals such as sheep and chickens. The house is handmade, so sometimes there is a creaking sound of wood, but once you get used to it, it is comfortable. There was a time during our stay when the wifi did not connect, but the owner fixed it. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to spend time in nature. ”

“We had a good time in this house. It had everything needed for two families. The house is very spacious, and since we spent a lot of time inside, the children also had plenty to keep them entertained. Excellent communication with the owner of the house, who was willing to accommodate us when we were planning to stay an extra day. Highly recommended."”

“A friend and I stayed here for a ski trip and really enjoyed it. It's a great location, a very short drive from the town centre with view to the mountains on a good day. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a full day of skiing and the games room is a nice touch. ”

“It was a good place to stay. Great location. Well furnished, with nice beds and a high pressure shower. However there was no firewood, and the fire pit outside was not there if I’m being picky. Overall perfect for families and much better than staying at a motel!”

“Nos alojamos una noche, para conocer el Tongariro National Park. La mañana antes de nuestra llegada recibimos un e-mail con todas las indicaciones para ingresar al hotel y hacer el check in, y al llegar encontramos todo perfecto como nos había sido indicado. La dueña del establecimiento se acercó a nuestra habitación para corroborar que nada faltara y, en efecto, estaba todo perfecto.”
