“A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing...

It is comfortable and well set up for a relaxing experience in this stunning and peaceful location - perfectly orientated to capture views of the mountain (when it reveals itself) in one direction and the distant ocean in the other. “The property was hidden away yet within a short distance from the coast and National Parks. There were several trails within walking distance and Pukerura Park became a favourite location towards the end of the day, having spent several hours there during my first day. It was easy to communicate with Louise and Jonathan should the need arise.”

“Fantastic little home in a great location. So close to town and all the activities we did. The house itself was clean and tidy. Toys and books for the kids was great. Perfect for a family. Only downfall was the sofa-bed was not comfortable at all and we couldn’t use it. We would stay again if visiting New Plymouth. ”
