“The house is in a lovely area of the island. Having the separate living area in the “pool house” gave us privacy in the main house. The house is not isolated so the property was not as quiet as we would have liked as an all-adult group. However, that is to be expected when it is located in a neighbourhood. It would be perfect for a family with kids. All in all, it is a well maintained property with a beautiful yard. I would stay here again.”

“We had a delightful time here. The setting is wonderful and the owners were cooperative and helpful. The place needs a little TLC but we had lots of fun. They provide kayaks and had a beautiful gazebo that overlooks the river. There are two bedrooms in the main house and two more w/bath in the ‘cottage’. ”

“This home was a great fit for our family (three generations). The location is quiet and remote but still relatively walkable (beach, food) for my young kids and my mother. We were surprised to find the home included regular visits from a housekeeper, which made our stay more luxuriously comfortable. “Kids in owners part of house were very noisy and sometimes right next door to us. It was called an eco lodge but we could see anything eco about the facilities. Only thing it was in a quiet part of Pacific Harbour with a grass area behind and not many buildings near. The large dog was always in yard. “Best location, clean unit. Easily accessible to the downtown & taxi. Owner was very helpful. We had booked One Bedroom appartment, but considering our old age & my hip replacement surgery, she gave us ground floor unit for the same price. “If you are happy smelling sewer methane vent outside your lounge window then stay here. Kitchen has gas stove, take your matches, fly spray for mosquitoes , toaster does not work,cleanliness was 2/10, shocked to see my toilet pan with someone else's remains there, which tells me it was not cleaned. Towel rail fell off and benches looked as not cleaned. Driveway is extremely steep, and moss covered, if you fall, you will scrape yourself and clearly get seriously hurt-no railing to hold onto. “ Property is up on the hill with very bad drive way. The driveway damaged our new car. The rooms and toilets were not clean and had bad odor. Bad odor coming from refrigerators. Loud music coming from nearby houses till 3 am and dogs barking on the street all night. Only positive was the security guard at the property who was super helpful and watched our car all night which we had to park on the street due to bad drive way. ”
