Where to even start, after trying to check in and waiting at the desk for 15 minutes and ringing the bell, a guest informed me that the desk manager might be in the bar…so I went to the bar and found them in there. They said that they had a sign on the desk, but when we got back to the front desk, there was no sign. I guess he forgot to put it up.
Then I head to my room, on my way there I noticed that there’s NO fire extinguishers in ANY of the locations and every single fire door has been chocked open.
The room has been renovated but it smells so badly of smoke. I have a kitchenette with a nasty little sign telling me to clean my dishes or leave a nice big tip for the staff or they will charge me a $20 fine. Funny thing is, there’s NO dishes, just a single fork and a lid to a pan that doesn’t exist. There’s no dish soap and the only heating device is a hot plate that’s all melted and gross looking and a microwave. The fridge was tiny and smelled bad too. There was a coffee maker but I wouldn’t trust it either.
On the way back down to my vehicle I noticed that they are storing all of the empty bottles and cans at the bottom of the stairwell and it smells like a bottle depot and the floor is sticky.
Get back to my room and fight with the TV for 15 minutes trying to get it to work and there’s only a few channels that work, and they are fuzzy at best and the sound is was off. The wifi is slow and intermittent.
Later in my stay there’s even more going on but I’ve run out
