Our otherwise excellent stay was disturbed by rude guests upstairs talking loudly, smoking outside our window and stomping around when we were trying to sleep. I would recommend this unit if you are looking for a nice, two bedroom place to stay in Hilo.”

“The Pacifica Inn is just a few minutes from the Volcano National Park and part of a great little neighborhood. Even though in a neighborhood, it feels very secluded and in your own little tropical forest. We stayed in the Gecko and Volcano rooms. I feel this is a best option when you are traveling with friends and/or another couple to have your own spaces ... but still in the same building/property. Communication with the host was great!”

“This is a beautiful studio apartment. My wife and I stayed here for a week. Since we were primarily there to relax, this turned out well for us. For those couples with difference in bedtime or awakening time, there is no place inside to do anything while your partner is sleeping. If you are planning on doing touristy things, the location is somewhat out of the way. It's at least 30 minutes into Hilo, unless you hit a bad traffic time, then it will be more.
