“Our cabin was extremely clean and cozy. It fit our two families of four well. We enjoyed the hot tub and the campfire, kitchen was well equipped for all of our cooking needs. The only issue we had was the can opener needed replaced! ”

“We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. “Roger and Mary are great hosts! This is a relaxing, nature filled sanctuary with beautiful grounds & most amazing reflective stocked pond. Any amenity you could imagine is already there, perfectly clean & the hosts offered extra treats of bottled water & snacks. The quiet location allows you to really just sit back and enjoy nature. We celebrated Dad's 94th birthday on our visit! Roger was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Do not pass this...

“The house, furniture and appliances were in great condition. All beds were very comfortable. Plenty of good firewood to burn. Beautiful view across the mountains from the spacious hot tub. Plenty of room for our two families of four. The free shuttle would pick us up at the bottom of the driveway within minutes of calling them. The host was so easy to communicate with, helpful and very nice. Definitely staying here from now on.”

“Three families with teens and tweens had a wonderful time this weekend. We were steps from the slopes and had everything for a comfortable and fun weekend. The three teen boys loved the bunk/gameroom. The hot tub was a great place to warm up after skiing. We will absolutely be back.”
