I stayed at this first floor condo over the Labor day weekend with my husband and pup. The beach is (turn right as you leave) is about a 2 min walk. However, then you have another 5-7 min walk down the path till you put your umbrella up and chair down. Chic's beach is not crowded and the bay waters are calm. The location can't be beat as you are within walking distance (a mile or less) to several terrific bars and restaurants so no car is needed while you get your steps in. The condo was clean and one of the most full stocked places I have ever stayed at. Plenty of towels, laundry detergent, linens, paper products, plates, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. And having a washer and dryer is huge bonus. All the appliances are stainless steel and new. The shower is a bit tight and you can't move the shower head to different position so you have to be careful or you will get water on the floor. I guess I was under the impression the condo was an actual one bedroom, but it is a studio apt. all open. The mini a/c worked great. The bed is a double, not a queen and so is the sofa bed. I can see 2 adults with 1 child (max) staying here. But not 4 guests. Parking is right next to the condo. The only cons I saw were you could hear every step and noise the guests staying in the upstairs condo made. So be aware. And the storm door was hard to lock and unlock. No Keurig. And also, the pet fee can be bit steep. But I know there are some guests aren't considerate. We enjoyed our stay!
