Just returned home from our vacation in Virginia Beach at the Sea Glass Dream. Our trip could not have been better, and this property played a big role in that. Leading up to the trip, Cynthia (the Host/Owner) was very reachable via VRBO messaging, made check in very simple, and everything was as described. We were welcomed by a very nice welcome package with local snacks and treats for the kids.
Some of the pre trip discussion was about supplying items for the beach, and everything we needed was available, including beach chairs, an easy to set-up beach canopy, as well as a beach wagon to transport them. And when the kids had enough of the beach, we were able to use the pool at the building.
Although this unit was not ocean front, it was about as close as you can get, being only about 1 1/2 blocks to direct beach access. The condo is in a great location, not only due to the beach access, but also due to the availability of a grocery store across the street, which was great for our family.
The kitchen was fully equipped, with everything that we needed, including a washer/dryer in the kitchen closet. Ample amounts of detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine were available.
Condo was very clean, very comfortable, and was essentially perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids, 9, 10). We would highly recommend Sea Glass Dream for a family of 4 (might be a tight fit for more than 4), and would absolutely stay there again for a return visit!
