“My new favourite Morecambe hotel. Stayed here twice now, should have tried it earlier. This is an older hotel, not slick and modern, so quirky, and the facilities are more basic, and may not suit you if you prefer modernity (try the Midland, and then pay for it!). More space in the rooms than many other hotels close by. Friendly staff, nice bar, a little quiet, which is fine by me, as there's a busy bar downstairs in the basement. Decent breakfast at a reasonable price”

“Hotel, even without breakfast service, is lovely. Kitchen available to use. While walking I explored slightly further afield and discovered a little cafe on the beach and the stunning old Heysham Village. I heartily recommend staying at this hotel. Owner very helpful. ”

“The room was very nice indeed, well designed, clean and comfortable, showing little to no wear and tear. Very comfortable bed. I received a warm and friendly greeting, and the pub itself has a very nice vibe, somewhat cooler than the sea-front hostelries, even thought it's only set back 100 yards.”
