Plusses:
1. Jeff, the owner & landlord, is an affable (albeit reserved) individual. He seemed responsive to many of our immediate needs.
2. The home is situated in a mid-range segment of town, a very quiet area of the community.
3. The house is relatively convenient to the center of town...which is a must-see trip...and is close to shopping/restaurants/golf courses/highways.
4.The "street appeal" of the house is good; the interior layout of the home also is good; the furnishings...while somewhat dated...are quite comfortable .
5. Except for the need of more water goblets, the dishware/cutlery/wine glasses were sufficient.
6.The daily/weekly/monthly rental prices were deemed to be "competitive."
Minuses:
1. We recognize that securing capable help these days borders on impossible. Jeff does the best that he can under those circumstances.
2.While the pool...and the surrounding area...are nicely done, the pool is unheated (for the winter months). And it should be screened from above, as well as on the sides in order to prevent leaves (as well as other uninvited elements) from finding their way into the pool.
3. Although the house is located some distance away from the ocean, that problem is manageable. However, at least two beach chairs, perhaps a recliner or two, and a beach umbrella should have been provided.
4. While someone might be critical of the sink-shower plumbing concepts, they can be made to work adequately.
