Estamos en el campo pero los pueblos de Dolo y Mira están muy cerca de nosotros.
Nuestros huéspedes suelen disfrutar de jogging o simples paseos por los alrededores.
Un oasis de paz cerca de Venecia, pero lejos del bullicio de la ciudad.

Dolo es un pueblo histórico con un Squero Monumental y un antiguo molino que aún hoy funciona.

Desde el 1 de mayo de 1922, Padua es una ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO.
Padua cuenta con tres mil años de historia, una ciudad de gran valor histórico-artístico con alma medieval. Estos son algunos de los muchos monumentos/plazas para visitar:
- la Capilla Scrovegni pintada por Giotto,
- el Palacio de la Razón,
- la basílica de Sant'Antonio,
- el Jardín Botánico, patrimonio de la Unesco. El Jardín Botánico más antiguo de Europa.
- la gran plaza Prato della Valle,
- pero mucho más....
No muy lejos encontrará el centro termal más grande de toda Europa: los Balnearios Euganeos en las Colinas Euganeas.

Numerosas rutas cicloturistas pasan por nuestra zona:
- Ruta Aida, (Bicitalia 20) que une el Moncenisio con Eslovenia. Estamos en la ruta a pocos kilómetros de Venecia después de Padua.
- Ruta Lago de Garda-Venecia1 (Bicitalia 20): itinerario regional que parte de Bolzano y la última etapa es en Dolo.
- Ruta en bicicleta por el campo de Venecia: de Dolo a Fusina, a lo largo de la Riviera del Brenta.

También estamos en el Camino di Sant'Antonio: ¡uno de los caminos más fascinantes para caminar o andar en bicicleta!
El itinerario principal sigue los pasos del viaje realizado por Sant'Antonio partiendo de la localidad de Camposampiero a las puertas de Padua.
Camposampiero detuvo los últimos días de su vida antes de llegar a Padua donde pereció.
La ruta alternativa es la que parte de Venecia en un escenario que sigue el río Brenta hasta Padua, y luego continúa hasta el Santuario de La Verna en Toscana. Una de las etapas programadas es Dolo.

Sweet and Lovely
We needed a larger residence with washing amenities and bathrooms and Kitchen this place is fabulous just off the beaten path but within a half hour of Venice which what we wanted. It do the bill very nicely

Best house for a large family with teenagers
We stayed here for 5 nights to visit Venice and relax in the lush garden. It was great. The house was luxurious, baths were great. Thank you Cristiana and Dario!

Lovely place
We rented this place to have our time away from busy Venice but close enough to go back and forth. We also visited Padua and enjoyed it. Our last day we made easy lunch and had lunch in the backyard and still walk to the restaurant and had a really nice dinner. Host was fantastic. Nice neighborhood.

A lovely little place in Mira
This property is just lovely. We were welcomed by Dario at the gate and his wonderful hospitality continued until we left. We were impacted by a nationwide train strike and Dario went above and beyond to help us get into Venice nonetheless. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped - perfect for our group of 13. Very convenient access to train and bus facilities into Venice. Thanks so much to our host… hopefully we’ll come back again soon.

A Wonderful Retreat Between Venice and Padua
Located in the quiet rural middle space between bustling Venice and historic Padua, this secluded retreat is a gem for exploring the area, with many delightful sights and restaurants to enjoy within a very short drive as well. We wanted to see both Venice and Padua but did not want to stay in either place, so this mid-point spot was ideal, and proved to be the perfect spot for us. The host was wonderful. Excellent communication. All the amenities available and a very suitable place for myself and three adult children to say. Each of the 4 bedrooms had its own en suite full bath. This property has been very well taken care of, has all the modern appurtenances, but also is decorated in a very charming way. Comfortable and serene, we would stay here again if we wander back to northern Italy. Brava!

Great Host
The property is everything the listing says, it slept 11 members of my family very comfortably. So many bathrooms it was easy for us all to get ready for the day. Beautiful country setting. The home owners were very accommodating. My family thanked me multiple times for booking this home. My only regret was that we didn’t really get to take advantage of the yard, or spend much time in this beautiful house and we didn’t get to spend anytime conversing with the host because we had a very busy schedule planned. Highly recommend staying here.

We love Dolo and Cristiana!
Cristiana was incredibly responsive and VERY sweet. House is beautiful and very well maintained. On a lovely piece of property. About half hour drive into Venice proper. We were an extended family of 10 and we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Home! Great hosts!
Wow wow wow! This is a beautiful place to stay on the countryside not too far from the Venice main square. A short walk to the bus station will take you there. The hosts Dario and his wife live in the house next door and are very accommodating. They will take you to the market or bus by request for a fee, but definitely worth it if needed. They answer any questions you have phone in a timely matter. They left welcome gifts for us. Dario met the taxi on the road by bike to guide us to the house. This is a great place for a big family! We fit 10 people comfortably.

Very nice location between Venice and Padua with excellent restaurants and bakeries within a mile or two. Friendly accommodating owners. House was nice for the five of us but kitchen and gathering space would be cramped for a larger group.

Absolutely Loved this Home!
I can't say enough about this home and the owners. They are so kind. The house and property is so beautiful. We plan on staying at this home again when we return to the Venice area. This home was my family's favorite stay on our trip.

Big family house with large garden
We had a very nice stay at the house of Dario and Cristina. The house has 4 bedrooms (14 people max.), so plenty of space. The owners also helped us with our car that had broken down. A very good place for large families.

Utterly fabulous hosts!
The property is well placed and beautifully clean however it is the Hosts that really made our holiday. They were on hand without being in the way and from us arriving late (meeting us in the dark so we didn’t go the wrong way) to ordering our sons birthday cake they were amazing! Such a lovely house for two families with kids. Thank you x

Amazing Italian Village
We were a family of 9. And our experience with Dario and his beautiful wife were amazing. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and most of all it was the trutly Italian experience. We LOVE IT!!!! Will definitely come back again. It was very close to Venice and all the activities we had schedule. And to top it off they cook an AMAZING Italian meal. The whole italian experience. DARIO is an amazing chef. Once again the best place to stay in Venice Italy. Will recommend to all my friends. Everything described in the rental overview is correct and more.

The icing on the cake
Dario and Cristiana's villa was the perfect place for us. They were were the perfect host and hostess. We were a party of eight from Ontario Canada. Dario and Cristiana picked us up at the train station in Mira which was a short 15 minute train ride out of Venice, and transported all of us and our luggage to their villa about 15 minutes away. The villa is absolutely beautiful situated in the countryside with gorgeous gardens and lots of space to relax. As one of our group put it "it was the icing , whipped cream and the cherry on top" finale of our 12 day vacation. If you have an opportunity or the time Dario is a fabulous chef and cooked us our dinner the last evening we were there. The best Tiramisu any of us have had. Five stars does not seem to be enough if there were 10 stars it would be tops

Christina and Dario are wonderful hosts! They helped us with understanding Venice, places to eat, and what to do. They were gracious and were totally fine to work with us when we needed to leave our luggage for a few hours after check out. We loved it here as a group and would use this home again if we travel here again. Each room had their own bathroom and privacy. Would be excellent for children and families. Highly recommended!!

Exactly as advertised- sophisticated county house.
Dario did a lot of the work on the restoration of their home (maybe all of it) and it was beautiful craftsmanship. The country house was very comfortable for our family group of fifteen-grandparents, parents and children. Three of the four large bedrooms could accommodate four persons and the fourth bedroom was a comfortable king sized bed which slept two. The woodwork inside the house was lovely and added to the warmth. Cristiana made us feel so welcome and was a ray of sunshine. She served the wonderful meal that Dario prepared which was a highlight for us to be able to remain comfortably at home after a day of sightseeing in Venice. The yard and garden were lovely and we would certainly return in warmer weather to enjoy more of the outdoor surroundings. The town of Dolo was charming and fun to see. We had gelato in town and a very good meal. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. Our whole family hopes to see you again in the future! Pat Franks and Family

Beautiful home in a beautiful countryside location
Cristiana and Dario are so welcoming and accommodating. We had a group of 12 and slept very comfortably. Unfortunately it was the worst storm in a decade so we didn’t get to enjoy the garden but it was beautiful! My only regret is that we only stayed here one night. I hope to come back and spend more time at this home in the future!

Fabulous property with wonderful hosts!
Cristiana, Dario and Bruno, their adorable 12 year old Bassett Hound welcomed our family of 8 with a bottle of cold Persecco and sweets. Their beautifully restored 200 year old home sits on a lovely park like setting. Since we did not have a rental car we relied on Dario to transport our group of 8 into Dolo for dinners, to the train station and airport. Cristiana and Dario couldn’t have been more accommodating! Their recommendation for dinner at “Al Cristo” in the quaint town of Dolo was so good we returned the next evening. This property is comfortable, clean, with wonderful owners! We highly recommended this rental if you are looking to stay in the Venice area.

Wir haben das FH als Durchreise für eine Nacht genutzt. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet und durch die Nähe zu Venedig sehr zu empehlen. Die Vermieter bewohnen ein Haus auf dem gleichen Grundstück und sehr, sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt sollte man bedenken, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.

Very nice house with several comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen and jacuzzi. Also with garden.
We spent a lovely time at Dario and Cristina's house. The house and surroundings are really beautiful. The location is fantastic for visiting Venice or other local charming villages such as Dolo. The owners are really nice and very helpful if you need anything or have any questions of where to go or what to visit. We really recommend this place!

A beautiful property and delightful hosts. Perfect for a family or group.
Chosen for a family celebration because of number of bedrooms and near Venice. Family of all ages including a toddler. The house interior house been beautifully constructed, lots of space and a large and pretty garden. We needed cars, most hired, but had problems with the one of our own, which Dario was enormously helpful in sorting out. Short drives to good supermarket, restaurants, station and a good public lido. Mira is convenient and Dolo is pretty with cafes next to the canal. Enjoyed visit to Villa Foscari Malcontenta, Padua by train and recommend driving to Fusini to take ferry to Zattere a relatively quiet area of Venice from where you can easily walk to main sites. Cristiana, Dario their family and Bruno the dog are a lovely family, very helpful when needed without being obtrusive. We took the house for 10 days overall, and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Close to Venice, gracious, helpful hosts, beautifully restored home, accommodating large groups
The warm welcome given by Christiana and Dario in spite of our unplanned late arrival was our first impression of this excellent property and surroundings. We loved the house, and appreciated the eye given to detail in the woodwork and integrated 'Murano' glass creations. We were also able to purchase some glass from a selection tastefully displayed in the house where we stayed. Our group of 13 easily had enough room to sleep, relax and eat, while the lawn and play area was enjoyed by the younger ones. English is spoken which was helpful in planning our stay as well as conversing with our caring hosts. We were happy to leave our vehicle at the local train station (approx 5-8 min away) and take the train into Venice. There are beautiful fields surrounding this property and it was very quiet. The radiators kept us perfectly comfortable as the temperatures in April can be chilly still. Christiana and Dario are the perfect hosts, helpful and discreet. Thank you so much for a great experience and we hope to repeat it soon! Kisses to Bruno! A definite recommend!
