WE NEVER FELT SAFE OUR ENTIRE TRIP WHILE STAYING HERE!
Upon arrival to the property there were guests still in the property that said they had reservations that overlapped our reservation by three days!!!
They had the same door code as us and were not concerned about the double booking, which seemed strange. It took us 24 hours to get in touch with the property manager, and that wasn’t until we contacted VRBO directly.
Magically, VRBO was able to contact the property manager immediately. They had no evidence of a double booking, they sent a representative to the home, who looked through the windows of the home and deemed it was empty and clean. Then, an hour later it was discovered that the property’s actual owner let some of their relatives stay at the property without communicating to property management.
I asked for a refund of my night that I was not able to be in my VRBO, changing of the door code, and cleaning of the property. I only received the cleaning (which was subpar). The door code was never changed!!! And I was told I would get 100 dollars credited to me, but this was never given to me either.
There was black mold in the bathroom and around the air vents. The linens had holes in them. They expected guests to start the linens in the washing machine upon leaving but did not provide laundry detergent. The blankets had stains on them.
I continued to call the property manager about these issues throughout our stay and never received a return call.
